Meth, Cocaine, Heroin Seized In 3-County Drug Bust: Ocean Prosecutor

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Two people have been charged in connection with a drug distribution investigation that spanned Ocean, Burlington and Monmouth counties, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced Friday.

Shaun Crawford, 36, of Trenton, and Sanine Brosseau, 44, of Cream Ridge in Upper Freehold Township were arrested July 27 as a result of the investigation, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.

The investigation identified Brosseau's home along with one in Bordentown as being used to store and distribute illegal narcotics, Billhimer said.

On July 27, authorities set up surveillance at the two homes and followed Crawford when he left Brosseau's home. He was stopped in Manchester and arrested, Billhimer said.

Authorities searched both homes and seized a combined total of about 9 ounces of methamphetamine, 6,550 wax folds of heroin, 6 ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine, two handguns, and $3,000 in cash.

Brosseau was arrested at her home.

Crawford was charged with maintaining or operating a controlled dangerous substance
facility; distribution of more than 5 ounces of methamphetamine; possession of more than 5
ounces of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; two counts of possession of more than 5 ounces of heroin/fentanyl with intent to distribute; possession of more than 5 ounces
of cocaine with intent to distribute; possession of methamphetamine; possession of cocaine; possession of heroin/fentanyl; certain person not to have a weapon; two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a controlled dangerous substance offense; possession of hollow point bullets; and possession of a prohibited weapon or device — specifically a high capacity magazine, Billhimer said.

Crawford is being held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Brosseau was charged with possession of less than a half-ounce of heroin/fentanyl
with intent to distribute; possession of more than a half-ounce but less than 5 ounces of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; possession of heroin/fentanyl; possession of methamphetamine; possession of Ecstasy; possession of methadone; possession of dextroamphetamine-amphetamine; conspiracy to possess 5 ounces or more of
methamphetamine with intent to distribute; conspiracy to possess 5 ounces or more of heroin/fentanyl with intent to distribute; and possession of drug paraphernalia, Billhimer said.

Brosseau was taken to the Ocean County Jail and later released as a consequence of New Jersey Bail Reform, Billhimer said.
