- Addy gunadiSouth Tangerang, Indonesia769 contributionsso nice the view, clean, and make me fresh my eyes 😊,
the water of lake so clear, make me want to swim hehehe, many people just walk around, running, just sit for smoke or relaxWritten April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Do you need to see it, not really it's just a jet of water on a lake but it makes for a nice photo especially on a clear day.
You'll see it whether you intend to or not, so embrace it and take a few minutes to appreciate it.Written January 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As the cathedral is located at the top of a hill getting there involves walking through inclines and stairs. But it's all worth as the cathedral is an architectural gem. It's free to enter and you can take photos inside. The entry is on the opposite side to the city.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- annwoodwardPerth, Australia271 contributionsThis was a fabulous museum covering 3 floors.
While we enjoyed the watch displays the photos and history of watch making in Geneva were also very good.
Beautiful displays besides watches all in a very pleasant building.Written January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Cern science gateway is a free to visit exhibition of all things to do with our universe and it was inspiring to learn about particle accelerator. The lab can be accessed using tram 18 from central Geneva which was convenient. Once there, you login to their wifi and register to enter the exhibitions and science shows. A must visit and highly recommended!Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lady DragonflyMarseille, France40 contributionsA wide variety of trees and flowers in multiple colors at the heart of the city of Geneva. A magnificent, soothing, exotic and magical park where you can also have a picnic.
There are animals there: deer, goats, ducks, pink flamingos
It’s a must-see place for nature lovers!Written April 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The guides were great, humorous nice ladies, however the procedure to obtain permission to enter the aerea is overly complicated. Entrance fee is low, but as its often booekd out, you have to schedule several months before. Group visits see to be easier to get.Written January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Adrian BBakewell, UK678 contributionsA brilliant museum on so many levels. Moving exhibits telling some grim tales. Beautifully laid out. Excellent audioguide which is included in the 15CHF entrance priceWritten March 19, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SteviefullKidderminster, UK1,761 contributionsWe spent a couple of hours in here looking at the displays of the posed animals in as natural a habitat as you could expect. They range from real looking to just a little weird but while not London Natural History Museum good it is still an interesting way to spend an hour or so.
In a city as expensive as Geneva somewhere free like here is certainly not to be overlooked.Written March 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Hearty portions of comfort food and well priced oysters to boot.
There are outdoor seats for dining in good weather and an indoor area with a blazing log fire for dining in bad weather.
I tried and thoroughly enjoyed both options.
Definitely worth a visit.Written March 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - permiaIreland41,090 contributionsWith accommodation close by we saw this grand space many times.
Always busy, it has numerous cafes and restaurants, many with ample outdoor seating. Large umbrellas and coverings are in place in case of less clement weather.
An impressive fountain is a centrepiece. A circular basin is topped by an ornate column. A garland of colourful flora is an added attractive aspect.Written October 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It’s a quick way to get an overview of the history of the city, since they have a very well done narrated installation on that. It also houses some very interesting historical pieces such as a guilliotine, apparently one that has been used. The house is from the 11th century and has of course been rebuilt multiple times. The oldest section is the cellar, sadly the lowest level was for some reason not accessible. The higher levels house a lovely display of 17th-19th century domestic furniture etc in a well done display. So overall a variety of items and art well worth seeing.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
