Whether you’re new to the city or new to the theatre (or both!), students are welcome at Bristol Old Vic.
We’re the longest running theatre in the English-speaking world, yet on the cutting edge of drama in the South West – whether in our 258-year-old main house Theatre, or in our modern Studio space.
You might have noticed we don’t do specific student offers on our tickets – BUT that’s because we offer Open Concessions on EVERY ticket type band no questions asked! That means you can see a show for as little as £5 (in Band F – look for the pink seats!).
Plus, we’re not just a theatre. There’s loads you can get involved with – from discovering our Community Choir, joining our team as part time ushers, box office or bar staff, or just hanging out with a pint at the bar (it’s 10% off for Students, 20% on Wednesdays!) – come on in and explore...

We have 100 FREE tickets available for every Preview performance of Bristol Old Vic produced shows (including The Little Mermaid) for newcomers to the theatre.
All you have to do is select the Preview performance you want to see (any seat!), make a new account on our website and the ticket price will be taken off at checkout.
