<p>Mr. George Francis Hawrys age 90, of Clinton Township, born December 14, 1929 in Detroit Michigan passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 22, 2020 in Fenton Michigan in the loving care of his daughter, Sharon Skinner. He is survived by his children, James (Theresa), Ray, and Sharon Skinner (Ron). He was the grandfather to Jamie Hawrys (Lori), Melanie Gordon (Ryan), Brittany Burns and Michael Hawrys and was blessed to be a Great-Grandfather to Ashley Hawrys, Trent Markle and Paige Gordon. George is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (Robbins) Hawrys, his sons Dennis Hawrys and infant son Ronald Hawrys, his daughter-in-law Sandy (Ray Hawrys), his parents Donald Hawrys and Hildegard Brobecker. </p> <p>George was a machinist by trade and enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, staying active, handyman projects, and spending time with his two little dogs, Emily and Candi. George proudly served in the United States Army. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A private service will be held on July 10, 2020 10am at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution can do so to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.</p>December 14, 1929 - May 22, 202012/14/192905/22/2020
