'But for now. This is all I want. I don’t want to miss it. I don’t want someone else to do it for me. I waited a life time for this.

'I know some people can do both sooner than I have and I think that’s wonderful if it’s right for them. And I know one day that will be me.

She continued: 'I’m grateful to still get the work I do. And I am doing the amount of shows that fill me up, pay the bills and keep me sane and balanced. BUT… This little boy right here gives me more purpose than I have ever felt.

'So I’m not rushing. I’m letting go of the pressure I feel from so many people. I let go of the guilt I feel.

'And I’m giving myself full permission to enjoy THIS moment and not spend my time thinking about what’s next for me my career. For now it’s what’s right for me and my little family.

'And trust me I know not many people have the luxury to stay home with their baby. Or have a hands on devoted partner. So I don’t take it for granted that I can and do. I’m one lucky lady.'

Jessie then took to her Instagram Stories to continue opening up on her decision and filmed herself as she broke down in tears while voicing how grateful she felt.

She said: 'I hope my last post tone comes across how I mean it. I'm sitting here crying because I'm so grateful and I feel like so many of us - whatever age, whatever time we're at in our lives -  feel so pressured to work really hard for something and then as soon as we get it...

'"What's next, what's the next thing we can work on, what's the next thing we can do, what's the next thing we can build on or grow or create?"

'Instead of being in the moment of what we've just done and soaking it all up. I've done that so much in my career and I don't want to do that anymore.'

She then added another lengthy statement that read: 'When we speak our truth from our own journey it will always rub someone the wrong way because their journey doesn't look just like ours.

'And so often people compare instantly. Parenting is the most unique relatable life experience. So I feel like advice or sharing can often feel like projection when it's not.

'My post was me speaking on my personal experience not anyone else's. My life and job and being a Mum.

'I am beyond grateful I have the luxury to stay home with Sky. I am fully aware so many don't. And it's breaks my heart.

'All the more reason I am grateful and soak it all up that I do get to choose to be home with him so much.

'But I also work. Just not everyday. But when I do it can be weeks at a time away on the other side of the world. It's all relative to OUR own limits and needs.

'And we gotta shower, eat food ourselves, keep a social lie and work?! Parenting is no joke. We HAVE TO LAUGH. '
