It’s been a while since Amazon Prime Video had multiple high-profile launches in a single month, but the streaming service is ready to kick off the warmer months with three new original series and two original films, both of which happen to be documentaries about ultra-famous pop stars in J Balvin and Pink. Other films headed to the streaming service in May include a few double features: both Nanny McPhee movies, three Alien sequels (Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien: Resurrection), Resident Evil and sequel Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and more.

Television-wise, Barry Jenkins’ adaptation of Ta Nehisi Coates’ The Underground Railroad finally debuts. South African actress Thuso Mbedu stars as Cora, a young woman who escapes from a plantation in Georgia and embarks on a harrowing journey to freedom. There’s also Solos, a star-studded anthology series that explores the deeper meaning of human connection and features Anne Hathaway, Helen Mirren, Uzo Aduba, Nicole Beharie, Anthony Mackie, Morgan Freeman, Dan Stevens, and Constance Wu. At the end of the month comes Panic, an adaptation created by Lauren Oliver (and based on her own bestselling novel) about recent high school graduates who compete in a series of challenges in their small Texas town, facing their darkest fears with the hope of improving their circumstances.

Amazon Prime Video’s listings also include what’s headed to sister streaming service IMDbTV, which features a selection of free movies and television series (with ads). Keep reading to find out what else is new on Amazon Prime Video in May, with some highlights noted at the top.
