This is the story of teenages who are out-of-control and in effort to put them on the right path, and turn their lives around, parents ship them off to a rehabilitation boot camp in Fiji. Four teenages - Sophie, her boyfriend Ben, Trina and Danny are sent off on an island in Fiji. Sophie is a drug addict and her boyfriend pretends to also have a drug problem so he can also be send off to Fiji and take care of Sophie, which works. The teenagers have to obey Dr. Hail, who runs the program and who isn't afraid to impose harsh conditions upon the teenages so as to ensure they are on the right path and that the program goes according to plan. The parents think they are sending their kids in a rehabilitation program, but it turns out to be more of a prison where they will be abused and brainwashed. The teenagers soon feel like they are indeed prisoners as they are forced to work all the time and they are on an island in the middle of nowhere, in addition to being forced to wear ankle bracelets so that every movement can be traced. If the teenagers don't comply, they face solitary confinement.

So as to ensure structure, teens wear shirts of different colours. New arrivals wear black, then yellow, then white - based on the teen's progress in the program. Those who wear the white shirts tend to take advantage of their positions as they no longer have to work and are now responsible for monitoring the other teens. One of those teenagers is Logan who is an ex-Marine and who exchanges sexual favours for colored shirts.
Sophie grows tired of this program and decides to escape, and her boyfriend follows her. They manage to escape to a surrounding island, but are soon recaptured and brought back to the island. One day, Logan goes running and tells the other male teenagers to go swimming and Danny drowns as he can't swim. Logan attempts to cover it up as he doesn't want to face responsibility, but it doesn't work. Sophie brings Danny's death to the attention of all other teenagers but many of them take Logan's side as he helped them progress in the program (i.e., by giving them coloured shirts). Sophie then criticizes Dr. Hail and Ben then tells the teenagers to take action as this isn't the first death to occur on the island and Dr. Hail has been covering them up to keep the program going. The teenagers revolt and cause mayhem, burning down the site and go after Logan. Logan dies as his car crashes into a building. Dr. Hail goes after the teenagers and try to kill them but his gun isn't loaded and so the teenagers throw him into solitary confinement until the police arrives. In the end, the teenagers are free and are swimming in the ocean.
Best part of story, including ending:
I like the story as those camps really do exist, but the acting isn't really good; except for Mila Kunis as Sophie.
Best scene in story:
Last scene when the teenagers are swimming in the ocean; they are finally free.
Opinion about the main character:
Sophie never gives up and keep fighting for her freedom.
