A delightful bookstore part of the larger mall. It's located right near an entrance and so is quite easy to get too and has a very large square footage. The store itself is delightful, with certainly quite a number of books but, perhaps distinctly compared to other bookstores, has lots of other household items, collectibles, and interesting trinkets and items too, as well as certain music items. Because of how spacious it is it was quite pleasurable to browse.

Found 3 of the 4 hard to find books here! After a brief call ahead; the staff had the books waiting for me at the counter. A truly positive book buying experience!
This is one of the few real book stores that still offers great service in the area.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 13, 2016
Books-A-Million at Arundel Mills is a huge shop. Do they have millions of books here? Quite possibly. Everything currently in print and some stuff recently in print. Probably not much that's out of print. And a wall full of magazines.
There are bargains to be had and you canusually find a good paperback or hard cover for much less than $10.
No "Joe Muggs" coffee shop here (perhaps a deal to give Starbucks exclusivity in the mall?) but they do have an ice cream shop.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Tee C.Glen Burnie, MD5226554Aug 31, 2020

I love a good bookstore, especially as they're getting more rare to find.
Visited MD, and a friend took me by this bookstore. From appearances, I thought it was a used bookstore, but it's actually not. They do sell all of their items new. It's definitely not an extensive selection of all available books in the world, but I think they have more of the popular ones. Their sale section was pretty massive, and I did get a few excellent children's books from that area.
They had a pretty good selection of small literary gifts, too. For example, pillows with book quotes, or wall decor relating to books.
Staff was very helpful. I found out that whatever they have in-store does not reflect what they have on their website and vice versa. Also, the membership can apply to online purchases. Unfortunately, whatever they have in-store, they don't supply shipping; you'll have to go to a FedEx, USPS, or UPS to ship an item.
I did think it was a little odd that they had a yogurt shop in their business. Aren't they worried of people leaving their empty cups on bookshelves and possibly getting ants or their merchandise sticky?Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Briana P.Los Angeles, CA010951May 2, 2018
I came in here just browsing looking for a new book that was just released. I found 3 books 1 on sale 2 not I asked the guy was there anything off on the book he said no but he was introducing me to this idea of becoming a member one time fee of $25 plus the purchase of my books 3 books 1 $20 the 2nd $18 3rd $26 plus $25 for the membership I politely declined. (I usually don't pay full retail price for a book unless I need it right away plus I'll just order used online ) after I declined he was upset because I only purchased one book & handed me the book in a rude manner

One can always find a good book at BAM. Personally I've migrated from hard print to iBooks and the Amazon Kindle but having a soft or hard-cover book in the car always helps. The only problem I have with BAM is the insistent, up-selling, practice taught to the cashiers. Why can't I just buy a book without 20 questions about the BAM membership and subscriptions...?
Overall, a nice book store.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - William S.Arlington, VA2172856443Mar 25, 2014
Book a Million a good store not a Barns and Noble Store. They stop having coffee store in the book shop. So they change over a ice cream sale/book store. Even there one across the hallway. Here my review. Nice an big a lot of books. messy. restroom need more cleaning and up grade. Bring back a coffee shop. All the DVD should be located in one area. I like this because it the only book store for this mall. If Book a Million go out of business. It will be one more place that make it easy for not to come here at the mall.
Some time I like to check the books out before I down load it on my iPad Air. I wood come here agin.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Patrick C.Pooler, GA774018May 19, 2018
Outstanding customer service. Larry took time to help me locate a hard to find a bi-monthly magazine. While some might argue that print is dead, it is important to make sure we support what we want to see stay around. Thnk you Larry and the blonde girl that tried to help.
