I just arrived to The WaterStone - early. They accommodated an early check-in for me and when I asked the server, Marin, in the restaurant where I could find coffee, she quickly offered to get me a cup and when I did not have change for a tip- she was so gracious. (I will tip her!) so far, this seems to be a clean, beautiful place to stay with friendly staff. Thank you @Maron!!

2 night midweek early December, checked in on app 1:30pm room was ready, we showed up after 4pm. Self and valet parking for $22 per day is reasonable for Boca. Front desk staff nice, king room spotless with mini fridge and private balcony. Also liked having the sofa and coffee table. Housekeeping great, we asked and received extra towels, toiletries and bottled water. Pool nice but go to beach, shuttle service is first class they provide you with nice beach chairs (not the cheap ones) and umbrellas all for free. We went to Deerfield beach there are public restrooms and plenty of places to get food. Hilton gold got us free breakfast, make sure you sit outside, food and service were great. We had issue with smell of dumpster by pool and then in lobby of our floor, my wife told manager on check out, when I got my bill a couple days later hotel waived parking and resort fees unexpectedly. Perfect example of proactive hotel wanting you to revisit. For the value you can’t beat this place, I originally wanted to book either Waldorf Resort and Club or the Boca Beach Club but it was too expensive. I would stay here again in future.

After a long day of travel, walking into the Waterstone was like finding an oasis. It was so relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful making check in very easy. The hotel room is nice, but the best part of my room is the walk out balcony and beautiful view of the water. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. There are only two things I didn't like: the shower/water pressure and the WIFI. Granted, it's an older hotel, and they have done a wonderful job of decorating it and making it look stylish. But I feel the shower, especially the shower pressure is where you see the age of the hotel. I also had a hard time with wifi in my room, but that could be user error. To be fair, I didn't take the time to ask the hotel about it.
The very best part of this hotel, and the main reason I'm taking the time to write a review is the service. Farham Rafiq is hands down the BEST I've encountered in customer service. He was gracious, courteous, professional, and went above and beyond to help me. This is the kind of person I would want working for me and I want to make sure his bosses know what a gem they have in Farhan.
I also wanted to mention the good experience I had at the Boca Landing restaurant. I ate there at least three nights and the food was always delicious and the server Jimmy did a great job. I recommend the creamed corn!

I like staying at what I consider high end hotels because I’m on vacation, want to feel pampered, and don’t mind paying for it. When I opened my room door there were 2 dead cockroaches right next to the bed.
I know what you’re thinking…”it’s Florida” I get it but Florida is also know for alligators but I didn’t find any of them in my bed.
That being said, for the price you pay to stay here you would hope that it was actually cleaned, especially during a pandemic. I appreciate that things are a little crazy right now, but it would seem that for the peace of mind that comes with staying in a nice place one shouldn’t have to worry whether or not the place they lay their head is actually clean and safe.
Also there was someone smoking down the hall and it was a bit off putting.

I am here at the Waterstone resort right now. 300 bucks a night and no turndown service? No one makes the beds in the morning either? I was told there is a continental breakfast . A food truck comes by and hands you a stale egg sandwitch. They are also hitting me with a 26 dollar daily amenities fee for services i do not want or need(rip off) even at the place they leave the light on for you will make your bed in the morning! This place makes me feel like i am left in the dark! I could have stayed at the Fountainbleu for the same price! Never again!

The Tv’s don’t have HDMI ports. My sink leaked. They held money for incidentals that never occurred. They tried to hit me for a random charge at the end of my stay about some tip at the bar. I never sat at the bar. My sink leaked water onto the floor from underneath when it was on. Breakfast is expensive if you’re not a Hilton Gold or Diamond Member - and breakfast doesn’t start till 7am. Breakfast cooks are super SLOWWW, I could never eat breakfast because I didn’t have time, had to get to work. Most hotels start breakfast at 6 or 6:30 for this reason! Not this one!

I recently stayed at the Waterstone Hotel for a business trip. It was a bad experience. The caulk/seal at the base of my shower was non-existent so every time I took a shower there was a lot of standing water all over my floor.
They are not doing daily cleanings of the rooms due to COVID. When I would call the front desk for a new bath mat and towels, the front desk staff was very rude.
This is not a high end hotel. When you pay $469 per night, you shouldn’t have to clean up standing water after a shower….and when you request more towels because you are cleaning up after a leaking shower, you should not have to deal with a bad attitude from the front desk staff.
All around bad experience. I’ve stayed in some bad spots before. This is one of them.

I feel sorry for people in the hotel business right now, I understand they are all struggling in this environment and I am prepared to cut them some slack but outright dishonesty is not to be condoned. I had a business trip to Boca Raton and decided to take my son and wife with me. We were there for the night of 10/8 and booked two adjoining water view rooms and also booked to have dinner at their Boca Landing Prime Seafood Restaurant which had good reviews . On the day of arrival we got a call from the restaurant and confirmed our reservation. We arrived and were given adjoining rooms 918 and 920. They were technically water view but it was mostly a peek of water through the adjoining buildings. The rooms had not be used for a while and were not fresh and not particularly clean. The balcony doors were rusted through and would not open and they had to call an engineer to fix them. I could forgive all this but what incensed me was when we went for dinner we discovered the restaurant was shut and only open for special events and they had only one other open air restaurant and they had transferred our reservations there. We had a sleepless night because there is a busy road right in front with a drawbridge and all the cars rattle as they go over the drawbridge, not to mention the sounds of the drawbridge being opened and closed. The staff was friendly and helpful except at their Bar and Grill open air restaurant where one Jessica refused to seat my wife and disabled son till all the other customers behind her in line were seated. My wife felt they were singled out because they are Asian. Once the drinks arrived my son who is handicapped had to go the bathroom and since there were none in the restaurant ; my wife told this Jessica she was taking him to the bathroom and she would be back in a few minutes, when she came back the drinks were gone. They did replace them but it left a sour taste. Next time I am back in Boca Raton definitely plan on giving other hotels a try.

Hotel is very dated and not clean. We had to move from the first room we checked into because of how dirty it was, the ac was not properly working and the noise from the highway and pool below was very loud.
We moved to a room facing the inlet which had a nice view but that was about the only nice thing. The balcony only had one chair and had a huge gap at the bottom and side of the door. Which makes sense why there were so many bugs smushed on the walls.
We called down to have wine glasses delivered to the room and were told they didn’t have any because the wedding going on was using them all....very confusing considering they have multiple restaurants on site. In the morning the breakfast was a grab and go with plastic wrapped bagels and no toaster. Not worth the $300+ a night rate.

Stayed over Memorial Day Weekend. Had a decent stay, but overall lacking hotel upkeep diminished our expectations. Rooms need basic repair and maintenance. Stained carpets, damaged cabinets, broken patio door locks, broken window shade and very run down hallways. A little care would go a long way here. Also, beware of the toilets, they block very easily. Hotel Staff and crew are very accommodating and are the best asset to this Hotel. Location is great too. Beach chairs and towels were included in the resort fee which was a plus. There was rumor of a hotel shuttle, but this was never mentioned by staff, not sure if it is running during COVID. Overall nice stay, but not worth the overinflated “COVID pricing”:
