Get your tickets in advance (web) if you want to avoid lines. You should pay attention to your surroundings because animals roam free (birds and others) don't miss the beavers and otters!

All these tips are right... the penguins are the best. They like to play and they're aware you're watching them.

I liked the separation of the zones depending on the climate. It's less magnificent than some of the European zoos.

When it's cold outside, the tropical area is a great place to be. Play find the sloths... There are allegedly 5.

Come for whatever, stay for the penguins. Unbelievably energetic. Watch them leap out of the water and land on both feet.

This was the most depressing zoo I've ever seen. The Canadian lux walk up and down like it has lost its mind. Many terrains were very crowded-especially the penguins.Skip it.Montreal has more to offer.

Make sure to go to the taxidermy area of the place close to the lockers. A nice way to end your day.

Very cool little "zoo" that tries to blend habitats together. Try to go slow and on less busy days to see more animals

Ok. It's an indoor zoo. The guidebooks hype it up. If you're visiting Montreal...honestly...you can skip this unless you are having a major "I must see some animals" craving.

Wow, I was sort of disappointed. It was a little depressing. Some animals have better "homes" than others. Can't imagine it's nice to have cameras flashing at you all day.

Went on a rainy Saturday. That was a mistake. The line wrapped the entire area and we never saw the end of it. Kids crying and running around. Ended up turning around after that

Bring a lunch mini-cooler place it in the locker cause the cost for the food there is not worth it. For the price of a family of 5 (about $10) a person it's best to wait and head over to a restaurant.
