wtf? she was cool in auditions and awesome in the battle beast episode. the show is about mark and he is not in the guardians, hence small screentime for her since she’s not actively romantically involved with anyone either.

yeah and not going to lie, i felt like her arc was always geared towards making the team take training more serious, since she is always involved in high stakes battles.
like in the machinehead fight she kicks it into high gear and keeps up after they all realize they have to. i recommend rewatching the fight because it’s awesome.
She was a side character, but she had a unique power and people enjoyed her presence on the show. And she died brutally.

Bro really had one of the most gruesome deaths in the entire show, just to be brought back.
That was genuinely one of my favorite deaths in a while, and I’m talking in any media, it was gruesome and it happened on a superhero shit like that typically doesn’t happen to superheroes which made it all the more fucked up so the fact that they took it back makes me so disappointed.

Yeah I fucking hate them going back on such a brutal death. Feels cheap. If they actually give Ray some good development after this it might be worth it but as it stands now she’s a black hole of a character so I don’t see the point of her staying alive.
I really hope they use this to make her into someone more important than a background character, she seems cool but has a minimal presence in the show.
I have a feeling that she might die from her wounds next episode or have the plug pulled on her since her injuries might be too severe.

It could also turn out she suffered delayed effects of Salamander's toxins or she was actually more hurt by Komodo Dragon's digestive juices than the actual enlarging.
Could be a mix of all of the above. She could spend half of the series comatose in a hospital bed for all we know. She could die in that bed an episode or two later.
