Delicious food, great service and a not too loud setting. The focus is definitely on seafood and fish, but there is also variety in te the dishes offered.

Quality of food was high, portions large and service very good. Problematic business issue: at home I happened to look at my receipt and noticed a 'Non Cash Charge. $6.72' then on the bottom 'Discount-Cash Payment (6.72)'. So there was a charge, a bit over 4%, for using a credit card, which should have been noted when the bill was delivered. Tacky practice for a high end, quality restaurant.

Blacks used to be my fav local spot, but lately food quality has gone down and prices are just too high :-( service and ambiance ate both terrific! as are the desserts and happy hour prices . But they recently lost both their main chef & sous chef, and it shows in the quality of the food.

We ordered Corn Bread as a side dish, but it was not moist enough. We ordered Shrimp Tacos and they were good except the Taco were little Chewy. We ordered Scallops and Arctic Char which were perfect cooked and delicious. No issue with the main entree. At the end we ended up ordering Chocolate Scoop of Icecream and it was very creamy and it had chocolate chips in it and was worth it. Overall a nice restaurant and service was awesome
