Tried many websites like fmovies, 123movies, moviecrumbs e.g. and they all worked but I was either bombarded with ads or the connection was extremely slow. dopebox was the only one that had a stable connection to chromecast and wasn't constantly dropping out every 2 seconds.
I'm tryna find the new resident evil but only find this one with this slot machine and that keeps covering the screen lol

How do they stay afloat? No ads, no need to create an account, no need to purchase something. Just curious:)
There are ads. When you click on pause, you'll see an ad.
And that's it. That's how they make a bit of money, just to cover their domain name costs. They use an API for streaming, so they don't host anything.
So it's just create the code and pay for the domain name once a year. They don't add the movies, the API does. It doesn't use any server space or bandwidth.
i use dopebox.net it used to be tokodrama but for anyone wondering it has been changed to dopebox.to
