NCAA Tournament schedule: March Madness dates, TV times for men's field
Last year's men's NCAA Tournament was confined to Indiana with the majority of games in Indianapolis because of the pandemic, which canceled the 2020 tournament. So for the first time since 2019, tournament games will take place at host sites for the first and second rounds (plus the First Four back in its customary home of Dayton, Ohio.)
Last year's first round started on a Friday instead of Thursday. That's also back to normal in 2022.
What didn't change last year, though, was the stacked tip-off times across the first round – the opening two days of the tournament, which will be Thursday and Friday this year.
