She worked for many years at the First National Bank of McConnelsville as a book keeper. She was a member of the Neelysville Church of Christ, Neelysville OCCL and love to quilt, crochet and go to Amish Country with her family.
She is survived by 2 sons, Brett Marshall of McConnelsville and James (Nikki) Marshall of McConnelsville, a daughter, Brenda (Mark) Murphy of Stockport, a sister, Sharon (Harold) Hess of Columbus, a Brother-in-law, Allen Spires of Gainesville, Ga, 3 grandchildren, John (Shiana) Murphy, James (Cassie) Murphy and Jessie (Dennis) Palmer and 4 great grandchildren, Hunter Murphy, Tyler Murphy, James Murphy and Eddie Palmer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Jessie Edward Marshall, 2 sisters, Patricia Summerfield and Marilyn Spires and a brother-in-law Wes Summerfield.
Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Meigsville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services on the day of the services.
