Autumn Adams Obituary

Autumn Miller Adams, 52, of Benton Twp., passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022, at home.

She was born Oct. 30, 1969, in Nanticoke, to Portia Crane Miller and the late John Miller.

Autumn wore many hats throughout her life, but her favorites were being a mother to her son, Tyler; and being a caretaker for people in home health and senior living centers. She also loved to take care of animals.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Miller; and her best friend, her beloved dog, Duke.

She is survived by her son, Tyler Sykes and girlfriend, Amanda; mother, Portia Crane Miller; brothers, Dean; Chris and wife, Jamie; and Lincoln Miller; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; many close friends; and her dog, Milo.

A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at George A. Strish Funeral Home, 211 W. Main St., Glen Lyon, with a service at 6:30 p.m. with the Rev. Louis Kaminski officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Luzerne County SPCA will honor Autumn and her family.

We are so sorry Tyler! We loved your Mom! She was such a caring and loving caretaker to our Father Allen Seesholtz. She was such a support and blessing to our family during his Alzheimer´s battle. We will miss her! She talked so fondly of you often. You are truly loved. Our sincere sympathies, Tracey and Bill Ryan

Autumn you & I were best friends & we were able to get together again. Last time we spoke a few months ago we were going to make plans for you, Cassie, Brad, Jax & I to get together for lunch again but unfortunately we kept putting it off & now we realize that was a big mistake!! I miss you girl & I love you, always!!! We had such a good time back then, playing Yahtzee & just hanging out!! I´ll always have those memories of us. I´ll miss you my friend

Autumn cared for both my parents at Vintage Knolls over the last several years. Her love, devotion and kindness to them was such a blessing to our family. She was always pleasant, and helpful in managing their health care needs. My Thoughts and Prayers are with your family hoping they can find Peace and Healing in knowing her life touched so many elderly lives in beautiful ways.
