Pop Wagner Trio to perform at Antioch College

Dubbed The Pop Wagner Greene County Trio, three musicians with ties to Yellow Springs will perform in concert Thursday, July 7, at the Foundry Theater on the Antioch College campus.
The ensemble features Wagner on guitar, harmonica and vocals; Gregory “Duke” Dewey on washboard; and Ben Cooper on upright bass.
The 7 p.m. concert promises a program of “country blues, tall tales, snappy repartee and rowdy folk songs.”
Wagner, a Yellow Springs native who makes his home in the Twin Cities, is a singer, songwriter, storyteller, guitar picker, fiddler, lariat-trick artist and humorist. He’s performed cowboy songs, old-time fiddle tunes, country blues and more for audiences across 44 states and 14 countries.
While back in Ohio, he’ll attend his 55th Yellow Springs High School class reunion.
Dewey, another YSHS graduate, has played drums with a number of bands, including Country Joe and the Fish; and Greene County resident Cooper is a member of the Ohio Corndaddies string band.
Tickets for the concert are $15, available online at popwagner.com/concert-tickets. VIP tickets, which include a pre-concert reception to benefit Home, Inc., are $40. The reception, from 5–6 p.m., will include refreshments and Wagner’s lariat tricks and humor.

Hello “Geezer” — The press release and the event page (https://antiochcollege.edu/event/the-pop-wagner-greene-county-trio-in-concert/) is pretty comprehensive and makes no mention of vaccination requirements. However, it’s generally a good idea to wear a mask in larger groups of people, especially if you feel more secure doing so.
Does the audience need to have proof of vaccination and does anyone know if it is safe to sing in other group activities now in enclosed spaces? Especially for seniors like myself?
