One of the 16 contestants on the upcoming version of “The Apprentice” has some impressive credentials not listed on the NBC website.

Alla Wartenberg, a 31-year-old Russian expat, made millions running a chain of Las Vegas spas, NBC’s website says. But Wartenberg once gave $40 lap dances under the pseudonym “Ecstasy” at the strip joint Club Palomino, thesmokinggun.com reports. Wartenberg also became close to California businessman Robert Acremant, who in 2002 was convicted of murdering a friend and two Oregon women in two botched robbery attempts. Acremant has been sentenced to death in California and Oregon, where he is imprisoned.

Speaking of “The Apprentice,” Donald Trump admits Martha Stewart was not his first choice for the spin-off to the reality series. Trump told the New York Post he considered Virgin head Richard Branson and Internet billionaire/Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, “But both Cuban and Branson tried to copy ‘The Apprentice,’ and their shows failed miserably. They gave me a free Nielsen study.”

Zara Phillips topped her mother, Princess Anne, by winning two gold medals at the European Eventing Championships at Blenheim, England Sunday. Phillips, a last-minute replacement, won the individual event – the same equestrian event her mother won in 1971 – and helped Britain earn its sixth successive European team gold. Princess Anne presented both medals to her daughter.

Dylan McDermott and Shiva Rose welcomed their second daughter, Charlotte Rose, on Thursday, People magazine reported. McDermott, 43, and Rose, 36, also have a 9-year-old daughter, Colette.

Tom Parker Bowles, 31, married fashion writer Sara Buys Saturday in Oxfordshire. The groom’s mother, Camilla, stepfather Prince Charles and his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, attended. Also among the 400 guests were actress Joanna Lumley, Hugh Grant and Mick Jagger.

Former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Kevin Nealon married actress Susan Yeagley in Bellagio, Italy, on Sept. 3. Yeagley had a bit part in George Clooney’s movie “Intolerable Cruelty.” The couple married at the town hall in front of four witnesses across the lake from Clooney’s villa.

“SNL” anchor-writer Tina Fey gave birth to a baby girl, Alice, on Saturday, TV Guide Online reports. It is the first child for Fey and husband Jeff Richmond.

Brit’s baby dressed to the nines

Designer Donatella Versace, left, has offered to
create a free, complete wardrobe for Britney Spears’
baby.

A source told the Sun in London the two met
through Madonna, and “Britney was very impressed
by how Madge’s daughter was (dressed). She is
hoping her baby will be the trendiest since
Madonna’s own daughter, Lourdes.”

Meanwhile, all those kids without clothes on the
Gulf Coast will have to settle for Wal-Mart duds.
