Topping off the list is this 2012 thriller about two police officers who work in South Los Angeles. The film focuses on the day-to-day aspects of their life including their friendships, relationships, and long days on the job.
While Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña star as the leading officers, Kendrick plays Janet Taylor, who one of the officers ends up marrying.
