If there’s one thing that keeps me hoping in this life, it’s celebrity marriages that actually seem to remain stable and functional. Like Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, you know? I’m aware this sounds INSANE, to put my faith in randoms I don’t know who also project a false image to the world (probably) about who they are, but fuck it – we all do it, don’t lie. One such couple I felt really proved love is real was Anna Camp and Skylar Astin from Pitch Perfect fame. I say “was” because those assholes had do go and fucking SPLIT UP on us this week.

Yep, Anna and Skylar’s two year marriage is donezo according to the pair, who issued a joint statement to E! News. It’s your bog-standard type of statement, as you can see here.
“We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this transition.”

The pair met on the set of Pitch Perfect but actually weren’t really in any scenes together.
“We were friends first and just hit it off,” Camp told Glamour in 2014. “He’s just so great, and he’s a Libra too. We didn’t really have a scene together, but he’s just such a fun guy. He’s great.”
The couple now don’t follow each other on social media according to E!, which is when you know it’s really over, right guys?
