Anna Nishikinomiya (アンナ・錦ノ宮, Nishikinomiya Anna) is a main character and antagonist in the Shimoneta series. She is the daughter of Matsukage Nishikinomiya and Sophia Nishikinomiya, the president of the Student Council and the childhood love of Tanukichi Okuma that has commissioned him to hunt Blue Snow before she can endanger the morale of the school.
Appearance[]
Anna has silver and short hair with a black headband, and has turquoise-colored eyes. She is usually seen wearing her Tokioka Academy uniform. Her PM is also unique to her, as it resembles a snowflake.
Personality[]
At first, Anna was a very kind, sweet, and innocent person who made it her goal as Student Council president to end Blue Snow's terrorist attacks once and for all. In "Whom Does Public Order and Morality Serve?", Anna admits that she is so naïve when it comes to sexual things that sometimes, she cannot tell what's inappropriate and what isn't. Her naivety is shown in "The Mysteries of Pregnancy", when she puts up a painting in the Student Council meeting room, not realizing that the painting is meant to be lewd. Even after burning the painting, she still doesn't know what's lewd about it.
However, in "The Saying Goes...Love Is Justice", Anna began to take on a much more creepy and perverted personality. Tanukichi had been dealing with a stalker who left him tons of love letters and even a gooey substance at his entrance. To get Otome to learn how to make dirty drawings, Ayame forced Tanukichi to take one for the team and have sex with his stalker. It was revealed that the stalker was Anna, who ended up raping Tanukichi. Her sexual naivety comes into play once again, this time in a much more sinister way. Ayame points out that she doesn't know how to handle her feelings for Tanukichi, and she mistakes true love for lust. Perhaps the most infamous example of this occurs in "Dirty Terrorism Benefits Whom?", when she gives Tanukichi cookies which she had made with her "love nectar". Throughout the episode, Anna's obsession with Tanukichi only got worse, as she chased him around the school in order to taste some of his "love nectar". Anna became so obsessed with Tanukichi that when she started to ejaculate for another man, not realizing that it was just Tanukichi disguised, Anna became so upset that she jumped off the highest point of Yatsuga Forest in an attempt to commit suicide. From then on, any morally pure thing that Anna does is not only fueled by her mother's wishes, but also by her love for Tanukichi.

Anna also begins to grow a "yandere" personality, becoming extremely jealous whenever she sees Tanukichi hanging out with another girl. In "Dirty Terrorism Benefits Whom?", while Ayame and Tanukichi were having a conversation about how weird Anna had become, Anna suddenly broke through the fence in which Ayame was leaning on and held a pair of scissors to her head. In "Handmade Warmth!", while Hyouka and Tanukichi were arguing over the massage egg, Anna walked in and saw them together. Anna assumed that they were having sex, and she got so jealous that she broke the doorknob apart from the door. Towards the end of the episode, Otome said a dirty remark, causing Anna to get jealous again and strangle Tanukichi. In "The Devil Blows His Own Trumpet", Anna had stood outside Tanukichi's apartment, watching him sleep with Kosuri for the whole night while holding a knife. To try to resolve the situation, Tanukichi had no choice but to lie to Anna and say that he and Kosuri were illegitimate siblings. After Kosuri pushed the act a bit too far, Anna threw the knife near Kosuri's head, pushed her to the floor, and stabbed around her "Five-Finger-Fillet" style. Every time that she nearly stabs someone in the series, she usually says that her hand moved on its own.
Abilities[]
Anna seems to have incredibly agile fighting techniques which can be shown whilst chasing after Blue Snow and Tanukichi Okuma. She is shown to be incredibly strong in multiple episodes, can climb along cables, and survive a drop from a cable car. She can also deliver an extremely strong kick that can stop any person running towards her.
Anna can also identify Tanukichi though solely his smell. Whether Tanukichi actually has a distinct scent to him is unknown, but she could recognise 'Tanukichi's smell' even when he wore completely different apparel.
Perhaps her most signature trait is her ability to secrete an insane amount of female ejaculate. This happens when she is under any form of sexual arousal, and when she is, she releases this fluid at inhumane levels. She has been known to secrete enough to leave behind a subtle taste in cookies mixed with this liquid, and oddly enough, can fill a bottle completely. She seems to suffer no side effects to this. Her 'ejaculation' seems to intensify when she perceives Tanukichi around her.
Criminal Record[]
Anna is one of the only characters in the Shimoneta series who has commited crimes that could land a person in jail in real life.[1]
- Attempted Murder: In "Dirty Terrorism Benefits Whom?", Anna holds a pair of scissors to Ayame's neck out of jealousy. Later in the episode, Anna strangled Ayame (although this time, Ayame was in her Blue Snow persona) so that Tanukichi could accept her love. In "Handmade Warmth!", Anna strangles Tanukichi out of jealousy. In "The Devil Blows His Own Trumpet", Anna pushes Kosuri onto the floor and, in "Five Finger Fillet" style, stabs the area around her. After Anna leaves, the floor around Kosuri falls, and she falls with it.
- Attempted Rape/Sexual Assault/Sexual Abuse: In "The Saying Goes...Love Is Justice", Tanukichi is forced to have sex with his stalker so that Otome could get inspiration to make pornographic drawings. However, the stalker, who turned out to be Anna, instead rapes Tanukichi. In "Handmade Warmth!", after the vibrator is accidently turned on, Anna's lust is awakened and desperately tries to chase Tanukichi. After Gouriki drags Tanukichi back to the meeting room, Anna pins down Tanukichi and asks him to hold him tighter. In "What SOX Created", after Ayame leaves, Anna pops out from underneath Tanukichi. He tries to run off, but she quickly grabs him and holds him upside down. She then throws him onto the ground and opens the zipper on his pants. Suddenly, she feels something strange and squirts on Tanukichi's face. In "Dirty Jokes Forever!", when Tanukichi is all alone in the hot tub, Anna takes the opportunity to try to taste some of his "love nectar". Later in the episode, she climbs the cables of the tram and forces Tanukichi's face into her private area.
- Sexual Harassment: Throughout most of the series, Anna tries to taste some of Tanukichi's "love nectar".
- Perversion: Nearly everything that Anna does to Tanukichi throughout most of the series is considered perversion.
- Trespassing: In "The Saying Goes...Love Is Justice", Anna breaks into Tanukichi's apartment to rape him. In "The Devil Blows His Own Trumpet", Anna stands at the entrance of Tanukichi's apartment with the intent of stabbing Kosuri.
- Stalking: In "The Saying Goes...Love Is Justice", Anna sends Tanukichi tons of love letters and even ejaculates at the entrance to his apartment. In "The Devil Blows His Own Trumpet", Anna breaks into Tanukichi's apartment and watched him sleep with Kosuri all night.
Relationships[]
Ayame Kajou[]
Anna and Ayame first met in 2020 and immediately became best friends. According to Anna, Ayame can be hard to talk with at first but she knows that she is very soft, recalling the time that she tried to pick up a cat only for it to scratch her, causing her to start crying. However, their relationship would take a drastic turn after Episode 5, when Anna held a pair of scissors up to Ayame's neck in jealousy. Towards the end of the light novel series, when Ayame tells Anna that she confessed her love to Tanukichi, Anna slapped her so hard that she nearly died.
Before Anna became jealous of Ayame, she had made it her goal to stop Ayame's alter-ego, Blue Snow, without even knowing that they are the same person. However, in Episode 11, the two joined forces to defeat White Peak.

- The name Anna means "favor, grace, beautiful" in Hebrew.
- Anna's surname Nishikinomiya means "brocade, fine dress, fine clothes" honors (錦) (nishiki) and "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya).
