Thomas Kail is best known for directing Off-Broadway and Broadway productions of his stage-actor friend, Lin-Manuel Miranda, In the Heights and Hamilton.
Thomas has even won the Tony Award (2016) for "Best Direction of a Musical" on Hamilton’s original Broadway run.
