Did you know that Kabir Bedi's ex-wife Protima Bedi had encouraged him to have an affair with Parveen Babi?

Kabir Bedi recently revealed in his memoir that he had an open marriage with his ex-wife Protima Bedi and that ended after he fell in love with actress Parveen Babi. However, did you know that it was Protima who encouraged Kabir to have an affair with Parveen?
Yes, you read that right! Back in 1997, Protima revealed in an interview with a magazine that she had encouraged Kabir to have an affair with Parveen.According to her, she was busy trying to untangle complications from her own life then and wanted Kabir off her back. She added that Kabir and she no longer attracted each other sexually. It was at a party in her house that she saw them giving each other the vibes and she went out of her way to encourage them.

Elaborating further, Protima also added that although she wanted Parveen and Kabir to have fun, she had told Parveen to not make the mistake of getting serious about Kabir. She had also mentioned in the interview that she never held Parveen responsible for breaking up her marriage with Kabir.
Kabir Bedi is currently married to Parveen Dusanj. He has a daughter Pooja Bedi from Protima and son Adam Bedi from Susan Humphreys.
