LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Southern California will see a cloudy but dry week before heavier rainfall returns for the weekend.
Most of the region should be dry on Tuesday, but by the time the weekend rolls around, another storm system with potentially heavy rainfall is possible.
Los Angeles and Orange counties can expect a cloudy Tuesday morning, making way for a nice and sunny afternoon. Temperatures will reach a high of 70, dipping to 52 at night.
The valleys and the Inland Empire can expect similar conditions with temperatures in the low-70s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Beaches will see some morning clouds with a high of 66 and 2 to 7 ft. surf.
Mountain communities will see a sunny day with a cooler night. The high is set to reach 48 with plenty of sunshine, dipping to 25 at night.
Deserts will see a high of 66 degrees with breezy conditions.
