We've got the exclusive first trailer for Peaky Blinders star Sophie Rundle's new horror movie Rose: A Love Story, which you can see above.
The movie sees Rundle play the eponymous Rose who lives in seclusion with her husband Sam (Matt Stokoe). The couple are devoted to each other and have to live with the violent, terrifying illness that plagues Rose's life.
However the fragile refuge that the couple have built away from society threatens to be shattered when the couple unwillingly take in an uninvited guest (Olive Gray), an event that could unleash the true horror of Rose's condition.
Rose: A Love Story premiered at last year's BFI London Film Festival and received strong first reviews, , as well as being nominated for the BIFA Raindance Discovery Award. It will be released on digital platforms in the UK through Signature Entertainment on April 5.
It marks the feature directorial debut of Jennifer Sheridan and was written by the movie's star Matt Stokoe, who is engaged to Rundle. The pair previously worked together on Sky period drama Jamestown and BBC thriller series Bodyguard.
Following the release of Rose: A Love Story, Rundle will next be seen in the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders, which is currently filming. Most recently, she was seen alongside George Clooney in Netflix hit The Midnight Sky.
When we last saw her character Ada in Peaky Blinders, she was pregnant with her second child and trying to deal with the death of her baby's father.
Last month, Rundle announced the happy news that she is expecting her first child with Stokoe. She shared a pair of photos of herself cradling her baby bump, adding that her "new friend" was on the way.
It was confirmed in January that the upcoming season of Peaky Blinders would be the show's last, but the story is set to continue after the final season in a new movie.
Rose: A Love Story is released on digital platforms in the UK on April 5 through Signature Entertainment.
