We travelled to Playmobil by public transport from Nuremberg with our 9 year old twins and 8 year old, along with 2 other family groups with similar aged children. Playmobil proved to be very popular with the children and provided them with 2 days of fun filled adventure.
Once you are in Playmobil all of the activities are free of charge, the park is clean, very safe and secure and accessible.
It rained on and off, unfortunately, on the days we visited, however the huge indoor eating area/ fun play area was a huge hit with the kids.
We also ate both days in the main indoor restaurant and the food was great at a reasonable price.

We visited when it was still cold, But in Summer, can couples or Family Visit with Kids, there is a walking area like a Forest or so for meditation nd sufficient lighting, when its dark. There you will discover the history of the city and all 20+ toy industries from Zirndorf. Superb. Located in a large old farm about 15 minutes outside of Nuremberg the markets have a lot of handmade products and gives you a feel of the Christmas markets of old. Although packed full it worth the trip for its charm. It is only open on the advents weekends.
