Going down the tubes

This place use to be great. Went there yesterday and the tacos were horrible. We had to wait like 2 hours for our food. Never again. The only good thing on that menu was the poke nachos. The manager came over and only offered a free desert 😏yet didn’t solve our endless waiting

Excellent Visit

Came here after cruising for a week and found this place as needed a respite from the Miami heat (not the NBA team) we ordered food after seeing others food and decided to eat here, wings were good, sweet potato fries were crispy and soft in the middle so we came back before our flight home the next day but best of all was Liagny she was and is a fantastic servant who is a credit to Yard House (others were really good too but she stood out)

A nice spot for a BIG bite of many kinds of tasty food and an enormous amount of different beers

The place is a typical American pub with a huge bar and a CRAZY HUGE amount of beers, like there is more type of beers than people at the restaurant, it is crazy. The menu is very nice, it has a big variety of foods. I ordered the cheese-stakes and the Thai pork-chop, they were awesome. Overall, pricing is just right, portions of the food are really big so think about sharing, food is very tasty. The staff is very busy, that is the only problem I could see. I would definitely recommend but I will not comeback for a while, maybe later.

A nice place to eat at Merrick Park Shops mall

Had a nice lunch at this upscale restaurant in an elegant mall in Coral Gables. The menu was quite diverse and had a broad selection of beers on draft. For starters , the tomato bisque was fantastic but the truffle fries were overpowered by oregano and seemed to lack any truffles. The entrees were good but a bit mixed.: The steak bowl’s quinoa was way too spicy, my son’s filet was very good but the mashed potatoes weren’t and the lobster and shrimp with zucchini noodles was good. The service was friendly and efficient and prices were a tad high but not outrageous. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Excellent Happy Hour

The one bartender on duty was spread thin, serving the large bar with 100 taps plus serving up drinks for the restaurant. The printed beer list doesn’t include all the choices. Eyeball the taps and ask your server for suggestions or a taste. We spied a tap that wasn’t on the list for local IPA. We might have asked for more local choices but didn’t get a chance. The food we had – calamari and the carnivore pizza were both very good. Happy hour pricing is ½ off appetizers and $2 off drafts. The piped in music is rock & roll hits from 80’s to present. It makes a pleasant background and is played at a volume where it’s easy to carry on a conversation. Our visit was very enjoyable and the tab for pizza, app and 4 beers came to $41, before tip. Yard House is part of the Darden Restaurant Group and has over 80 locations in the US. It’s a winner!

Upscale bar food

Nice bar/restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating. Full bar and great selection of draft beers. The food is very good, better than most places of this type. We shared the pretzel as an appetizer which was very good. For dinner I had the Korean BBQ cheesesteak which was a nice variation. My son had the traditional cheesesteak, also very good. My wife had the carnitas tacos which she enjoyed. Service is good and everyone is friendly.

AIR CONDITIONER BROKEN. WAY TOO HOT

Went in May, no AC. Again for Father's Day, no AC and in July, No AC. So hot had to take our food and leave. MISERABLE Never Again

Lively Place Great Food Good Drinks

Menu has lots of choices. .Appetizers were great and lunch was good.. Drinks were a bit slow in coming the bar was super busy so am assuming this was the reason. Server was busy but there was a line waiting to get into the restaurant.Fun place to go for sure!

Better off going Asian

This is one of my favorite go to's in the past TO DINE IN. I tried their take out this evening after cooking for 7 days and had mixed results: 1.) BBQ Chicken pizza-When I arrived they were re-doing as pizza #1 was burnt. I appreciate their noticing this but they did not re-do all the food which was an issue (below). FYI, my son said the pizza was good. 2.) Whiskey black pepper wings-Cold when i got home due to the pizza issue, but tasty cold. 3.) Chicken Kale Cesar Chicken salad-Very good tasting. The up charge for the chicken was somewhat disappointing due to the chicken portion size. But the blackened chicken was awesome tasting 4.) Roasted Turkey club-Cold when we got home and my daughter would not eat it, complaining about the mushy white bread. $14.00 waste in the garbage. When I arrived I was promptly greeted but others weren't. Employees were in the back laughing and joking. Seems all is well here. I am thinking the Asian restaurants have the take out side of the business nailed.

Great experience.

We waited less than 20 minutes which was awesome considering how many people wanted to do the same as us. As soon as our table was ready The hostessed sent me a text. Then we went to our table and our waiter Nick was wonderful with us he try to help us in every way we need it he even try to speak Spanish to make himself understood by my parents. For appetizers we didn’t want to order because my mom knew their plates were big. So we order one plate for each except me, because I wanted to try every plate on the table. My daughter ordered from the appetizer menu the chicken strips and they where very good. Fresh and juicy in the inside where the honey mustard sauce and we chose the sweet potato fries. I like the taste of the potato fries but not the texture I didn't feel they were fresh. As for my mom she ordered a chicken salad and that my friends, was amaziiiiiiiiing so fresh and filled with so much flavor with a lot of ingredients and a pink sauce on top, plus anything you can imagine from avocados to cilantro to Cheese, just perfect. My dad ordered the famous cheese chicken nachos that they have and that plate was huge, tasty, crunchy. The best part was my son's burger, the Gorgonzola. Wow sooooo juicy, with the melted cheese inside and mushrooms. I have not tasted a burger like that. The best one ever!!!!!! Service was great, the atmosphere at this place was super nice and the never rushed us to leave. So we watched the whole game. Also, their prices are reasonable. Thank you Yard House.

Not Just for Beer Lovers

My man loves beer and was obsessed with World of Beers. When it closed, he was heartbroken. When he moved up to Miami from Key West, I thought I would take him to Yard House because they are known for their expansive selections of beer. I went thinking it was all about the beer but hoping that the food was at least fair so I could be ok going (since I don't like beer). Let me just say that the the food was amazing! There is so much on the menu to choose from. The ambiance is pleasant. The sound level is not too noisy (which is a surprise for a place with a full bar). There is outdoor seating as well as indoor tables and bar seating. The prices are reasonable and the portions are big. They have great Happy Hour specials and if you download the app to join their group, you get a FREE appetizer of your choosing. YUMMY! We had the brussel sprouts and potatoes. And did I mention they have bread pudding? OMG!!! We have already gone back a second time and intend on going back often. When you are done with your time at the Yard House, you can casually stroll around the Shops at Merrick Park.

Good for vegetarians

I had some lunch here with some colleagues and as I have been mainly eating plantbased lately, I still was able to find some good vegetarian choices here. Plus what I choose was delicious. Will definitely come back again.

Beer heaven

A group of friends went out for drinks and some light finger food. The beer selection here is bonkers! If you don't find a beer that suits your taste, you are not a real beer drinker. The food was ok. Can't comment a lot because I only had some fries, but everybody was enjoying what they had ordered The place had a fun vibe and there was a MNF game on (without audio) so great place to share time with friends.
