Xaverian High School Reviews
Rating 4.44 out of 5 171 reviews
When I was there, the school had the feel of a juvenile detention center. If Xaverian was all it said it was, there would have been more students there who had the courage to stand up to the relentless and merciless bullying that took place. Most students were either bullies or fearfully complacent with what was going on (both equally lame) - and that ranged from verbal abuse and humiliation to physical assault. To put the collective character of the students and culture of school into perspective - girls can attest to what it was like to get on the bus going home from Xaverian. The vile, verbally abusive, sexually aggressive comments and harassment coming from those classy Xaverian boys (and they probably wouldn't have known what to do with a girl) spoke for how abusive the environment was. I have to wonder if people think the school has to be good because the tuition is so high, but what this school really teaches is the most horrible people tend to have plenty of money.
Overall, my experience with Xaverian high school is very amazing. I was so set on going to this school that I even transferred out of my previous high school to go here. I have met so many people and teachers that have improved my lives in the best ways. I never knew before coming to school that I would make all of the relationships I hold today. Learning is actually made fun in the school thank to such supportive teachers and peers. Day by day, my friends and I see how much the students and the school itself have accomplished over time. From being an all boys school to a school that is now co-Ed, it truly shows how many more people want to share the Xaverian experience.
Xaverian High School is a great place for learning, having fun, and also getting ready for your future. With all of Xaverian's programs and extracurricular activities, there is a place for everyone to explore their passions and make friends along the way. Throughout my years attending Xaverian, I've met some of my best friends while also being very involved in my school, playing multiple instruments, being a part of the track & field team, and taking many AP level classes. Not only did the community and faculty play a role in my wanting to attend Xaverian, but also the well roundedness between activities, hanging out with friends, and the academic rigor that is preparing me to go to college. High school is what you make of it, but Xaverian will become a second home for you as it has for me and welcome you with open arms into the caring and smart family that we are.
