My overall experience with Wink High School has been nothing short of amazing. This school allows you to be great in life. There are many activities and opportunities for you to succeed in any way you chose. The teachers and administration here at Wink give you endless support and care for your next step in your career, no matter what that may be. The sports and athletics here are phenomenal. From volleyball and cross country to football and track the support and hard work from each of the coaches is never ending. Overall every single part of Wink High School is top notch and will for sure get you ready for the real world.
I don’t believe that attending & graduating from a rural school has been as positive form of influence or impact on my education as it should have been.
There are many opportunities & blessings from attending a small town, local, brick & mortar public school, however, I on very rare & limited occasions ever experienced those opportunities.
I actually had to be homeschooled in the middle of my third grade year because the school as a whole was failing me & I was on a below first grade level still with special education needs that were never being attempted by most of my educators.
After homeschooling for a few years, I returned to my local district in the sixth grade where I was advanced in my math & was asked for the next 2 years to help other students in that subject.
I began struggling again my sophomore year so, I returned to homeschooling to try to catch back up with my peers. I did well, but wanted to return to my local school for my last, senior year.

I enjoy Wink High School it is a very good school. The culture in Wink is wonderful to see. But, sometimes the students will get this mind set that we are the best. Which is good in some ways, but not in others. I've had a wonderful experience here I've been coming to school here since third grade and it has been fun. As time comes along you see that Wink isn't all what people say it is. There are some interesting things and you should check it out.
