Extremely grateful for the helpful and accomodative staff who tried their best to re-allocate our two tables booked separately so that we can end up sit together in a big table! Thank you once again! Overall atmosphere, interior design and decoration is unbeatable. Food is all very nice too! Staff remembered the pasta and two side dishes were actually shared by my baby daughter and myself, she just prepared dishes for us to share the food in the first place without having us to ask for them, which normally happened elsewhere. Very attentive and heart warming indeed. In the lady washroom one of the toilet wasn’t working, the next time i went into the washroom before departure I saw a staff came checking on it and locked the door first so that others won’t get into that room.

A really nice restaurant in Windsor where most places are rather unattractive. We went to the Ivy to have a quick bite before going to the theatre. The decor is really nice with a nice atmosphere. The staff are all very professional, nice and happy to help. We ordered 2 fish cakes with fries and an apple tart (which you have to order in advance as it is cooked to demand and it takes time to bake). The fish cakes were very nice but they were not hot. We didn't make a fuss as our time was tight but when prompted, we mentioned it. The restaurant very kindly offered us the apple tart as a way of compensation for the disapointment and we really appreciated it. Many thanks. The tart was absolutely fabulous and was flambeed at the table with calvados. A very nice touch that attracted all the "eyes" of other customers! We will happily go back to the Ivy in Windsor. Thank you very much for a lovely experience.

The Ivy Windsor is ideally located opposite Windsor Castle where we were greeted and taken to our table. I had crispy duck salad for the starter and Blackened Cod for the mail, I would not have the starter again as the flavour wasn't great but not bad enough to make a fuss. The Blackened Cod was very nice and was my wife's Seabass albeit a small portion. My observation is that we felt like we were on a conveyor belt where we were rushed through the dining process, this would not be an an issue if you want a quick meal but if you wanted to take a slower pace and enjoy spending a little more time over you dining experience, this was not a great outcome. Overall, I would not knock The Ivy Windsor as I am sure they are just trying to make a living, but for me I think I'd look elsewhere if going out for an evening meal.

Savouries ie sandwiches not enough.. too many cakes.. cucumber sandwiches not very nice. We also has a special birthday 70th.. was sent a plate of chocolate brownie with candle on but already had 2 pieces of this in her afternoon tea so that made three servings of same thing! Maybe would have been nice to offer the glasses of champagne for table instead. Also delivered this to table when one of guest was in toilet.. (birthday girls daughter… ) maybe reading the table would be a good idea before taking a to table?

Lovely restaurant with excellent views of the castle but at times rather noisy. Service was excellent, from being greeted to settling the bill. We were there for the afternoon tea which I wld say was mediocre compared to many others I have had. Would I return, yes but not for the afternoon tea and not at the weekend as it was very busy.
