We love our experience at William O. Schaefer! The staff and administration are solely focused on seeing the children thrive whether that be offering extra help where it is needed or giving extra encouragement. My kids love the environment they provide and that the district is so concerned about serving the community and the families that that represents.
My children (5/6) are much further behind their peers in other schools with learning basics and there doesn't seem to be much interest in actually teaching here and this school environment is more like getting through the days.
WOS is fantastic. The teachers, the admin staff, the parents that volunteer......They have supportive mini programs for kids who need extra help, or who are facing stresses and just need extra support. The garden and then donate the harvest to families in need. There's a free camp in the summer....I couldn't be happier.
