If you're going to be in Wiesbaden, you have to see the churches. This whole part of town has it all, parks, churches, casinos.

The city center of Wiesbaden is a gem, beautifully arranged and a pleasure to stroll. Like many other big cities, shopping is the main activity, but Wiesbaden has such a glorious history that nearly every building has a distinctive trait that makes the whole area unique. To be fair, even the main arteries leading to the city center are amazingly preserved and a joy for the eyes. The use of the pink stones gives the whole area a very unique feeling (as is Mainz and Heidelberg). A 2 to 3 days stay is recommended to fully appreciate this one of its kind city. As by june 2021, covid-19 restrictions have been partially lifted, mouthmasks are only mandatory in enclosed spaces and outdoor markets.

Just an amazing beautiful place. You need to get a book on Wiesbaden to read before you visit to get the full effect.

You cannot possibly come into this historic square without being taken aback by the sense of history or the sense of culture that abounds. Even the local shops have a personality all of their own - if a teeny bit expensive and snooty!
This is a must visit anyway, but come at Christmas and you will exhaust yourself and your group with the splendid array or food, drink, colour, characters and activities.
It is a must do and if you don't touch the gluweins of any 'colours' - more fool you!

no matter which time of the day or evening, this main street is lovely. lined up with impressive buildings with rather exclusive smaller shops on one side and the Kurpark alleys in the other side it is a pleasure to take a stroll. some window-shopping, get inspired by some mid-/high end brand shop and stop for a coffee in a traditional coffee house

This to me is the most iconic structures in Wiesbaden the church is just as pretty on the inside. It serves as the centerpiece to many festivals in Wiesbaden and perfect for picture settings.

Wiesbaden is a quiet town, but this street is very lively and not only during events. Very enjoyable to walk around, even with the occasional construction work.

Germany has many Christmas markets, but the Sternschnuppenmarkt in Wiesbaden is one of my favorites. Sprawling through the pedestrian center of the town, and focused around the Wilhelmstrasse, this festival differs from the "usual" Christmas market in the quantity and quality of the wines available. Here in the heart of the Rheingau, the Christmas market offers Rieslings, Spatburgunders, Weissburgunders, and Weissherbst wines that you will be hard-pressed to find outside of Germany -- and they are well worth the tasting at the market.

It is outside of the pedestrian area but many good shops are situated there as well as cafes and trees which make it a nice walk.
