In 1996 and 1997, Shannon Elizabeth guest-starred in a number of TV programs including ‘Arliss’, ‘Hang Time’, ‘USA High’ and ‘Step by Step’. During this time, she also made her film debut as Jill Metzner in the movie ‘Jack Frost’. Then in 1999, she was cast as Nadia in the sex comedy ‘American Pie’. The following year, she appeared in the horror flick ‘Scary Movie’. The actress then got featured in the films ‘Tomcats’, ‘American Pie 2’, ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back’ and ‘Thirteen Ghosts’.
From 2003 to 2005, she played the role of Brooke in ‘That '70s Show’. During this time, she also did the movies ‘Love Actually’, ‘Johnson Family Vacation’ and ‘Cursed’. Soon after this, Elizabeth began playing the role of Tiffany Sherwood in the sitcom ‘Cuts’ in 2005. That year, she also appeared in the comedy film ‘The Kid & I’. In the mid-2000s, Shannon Elizabeth described poker as her second career. At that time, she visited Las Vegas up to three times every month to participate in the poker games with top players. She participated in the 2005 World Series of Poker and won a special tournament hosted to celebrate the opening of a new poker room at the Caesars Palace hotel in 2006, beating out 83 poker professionals and celebrities to win $55,000.
In 2007, she participated in the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship and advanced to the semi-finals before losing to the eventual champion Paul Wasicka.
