Weathervane Seafood Restaurant

Not my first time here. We were sat quickly and the service was good. Our table ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, lazy man lobster, and broiled salmon. All of us enjoyed our meal! Very tasty!

Didn't have time to take any pictures of our food because we devoured it right away.

Also, they serve Coca-Cola products, so double bonus!!

The Saturday to start February vacation, 2pm. Seated in under 10mins, served politely.

Haddock Melt was 10/10. Hot, crispy outside, moist and flaky inside.
Fries were simple but options to season were available.
Coleslaw was tasty.
Broiled Salmon was good, but my wife stole more of my haddock once she had some, preferring it to the salmon..

It's got a bit of a tourist trap vibe, but past that, the food was hot and good. And the service decent.

Price is up compared to other restaurants, but not bad for seafood and tourist area. I don't know what it did to deserve a sub 3 average, but today's visit was a chill 5 (would prefer to be giving 4.5 but that's not an option).

Stopped in recently during Christmas shopping. I was in a great mood. I wanted to share some holiday spirit. I had it in my mind that if the service was good I would tip the waiter 100$.
Sat at the bar and asked about a drink involving bourbon. The bartender said it was her 2nd day and didn't know what they stocked "she needed to find somebody ".
Somebody came to make the drink.
After several minutes the new girl came back and I ordered scallops with onion rings in place of the fries. No mention of no substitute or additional cost. The meal came . With fries and a side of onion rings. I expressed to her that I wanted Instead of not in addition to... I'm not paying for a side order. She claims that she understands and that the bill will be corrected. The food was serviceable and hot. It was served with no utensils or condiments so a bit of a scavenger hunt ensued.
I finished my meal and asked for the bill. The onion rings were still on the bill. I asked her about it and she told me some mumbo jumbo about she changed less for the scallops???
I was in a good mood. You had 100$ tip! Then you didn't know much or know anyone who did. 25$ tip
Then you try to scam me? 1$tip

This place is massive. It's relaxed, but not lonely. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Our server, Lacy, was fantastic and the menu is varied and delicious. Its been a very long time since I can remember having such a pleasant dining experience!

Nice restaurant in the outlet area. Wish they had more of a lunch menu to choose from. But what we did order was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive and the drinks and appetizer came out quickly. Lunch items didn't take too long either. A nice place to stop during the day to grab something to eat.

We ate here many years ago and stopped here again for lunch. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly attentive waitress, nice menu.
We ordered the fish chowder made with haddock, fish and chips and grilled salmon with an apple maple glaze. Everything was tasty, came hot hot, plated nicely. Great batter on the fried fish and the salmon was tender and seasoned nicely. We enjoyed our lunch. Prices on par with the area. We had a memorable meal.

Been to weathervane many times since back to Maine always eat In dining room I always ordered their full belly clams and they had to be full belly always got a good portion clams
But do not order take out I ordered the full belly clams and I got regular clams and very few
I will not make a mistake again I was very disappointed. I called them and told them they told me that someone would get in touch with me in about two weeks.

So now I go next-door over to Bob's clam shack where I will not get ripped off

We stopped by after a long beach day and there was no wait to sit down. Our server Tijana was very smiley and kind, and was an overall excellent server.
We ordered a clam chowder bowl to share and two orders of steamers. The steamers were 1/2 lb per bucket and surprisingly had a lot of clams. They were so good and so fresh and so so worth it.
The restaurant itself seemed a little dated in the inside, but will definitely come back again!

Went there while Christmas shopping at the Kittery Outlets this week. We got the fried scallops & whole clams Half & Half, Caesar sakad w/grilled chicken and the onion rings appetizer. Everything was excellent. As long as you stay with the classics they're great.

The interior of the restaurant is charming and cozy, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The food is delicious and fresh, offering a variety of flavorful seafood dishes. The service at the restaurant is excellent, and server Patty is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu.
