- PatrikMontreal, Canada75 contributionsI lived in Chicoutimi for 2 years relatively close to the park. Park de la Riviere du Moulin was my "sanctuary" in town. The place to go and escape the troubles of daily life. It's a relatively long (~5-6 km) North-South stretch of park offering multiple walking trails with some elevation. You can even spot some wildlife like a weasel, white tail deer, or the occasional aggravated partridge escorting you out of the park and probably away from her young. The remaining exterior buildings are quite interesting.
Museum itself is just OK but has a decent story.

After all these fun activities are done, take a stroll along the boardwalk thats facing the mountains and the Lake Saguenay.

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Maureen HHamilton, Canada157 contributionswe did the combined mini bus tour of 20 people from La Baie to L'Anse Saint Jean which included stops at a few of the quaint towns along the way then returned via a 3 hour boat ride along the Saguenay Fjord. Delightful but need to offer English translation. Pricing is about $100 per person, $249 for a family; there were 2 families with children 10-14 age range on the boat ride returning. The video show allowed understanding of the animals and their lifecycle. Lots of lovely items for purchase in the little boutique on site. Guided tours offered, and they even had good english tours - surprising for the area.
