    We really enjoyed our day
We went with a 3 year old and had a very enjoyable day. The numbers were obviously not as high as peak summer so this was a huge bonus. There was a 30min wait for the two big rollercoasters and maybe 5 mins for everything else. We found a lot to do and lots of rides for our little one, who is just under a metre tall and this exempted her from most things. Still, there were about 10 rides she could go on, 2 big play centre/climbing rigs so she had a ball. We were there from 11am to 6pm and we missed out on quite a lot because we hadn't time. We brought a packed lunch so can't comment on the food. We got a taxi to and from cambrils park and it was €25 each way. There was a taxi waiting outside porteventura thankfully because we had nothing ordered. We had a memorable and great day.

    Horrible Cue jumpers
Went here May22 2023. Was looking forwards to the thrill of the rides, unfortunately to many Spanish children aloud to jump the cues. Large groups would just push in from because there friends were there. People smoking in the cues when it was clearly marked no smoking and the ridiculous cueing system was utter rubbish. Absolutely no organisation. Signs saying 20 minutes wait were an hour long wait. Some took 2 hours to get on. Park opened at 10am and closed at 6pm which is again ridiculous. Managed to get discounted tickets from Aldi in Salou. This saved us almost €100. So check that out first. would be much better without the school trips and even the teachers allowing cue jumping. Shambles.

    Very good theme park
Bought a three day ticket to all three parks. It was very busy when we went as all the local school children had gone there for an end of year treat. Very manic and noisy. Still over the three days we managed to get on all the rides we wanted to. Some of the rollercoasters are great and some are pretty rough and bash you about a bit. Ok, if you're young, but not us middle age folk. Food in the park is your usual stuff and quite expensive for what it is. Ferrari land isn't great though, unless you really love the brand. Only one good ride there as far as I'm concerned. The water park next door is good. Plenty of space and sun loungers. Rides are good too. A must do, if you visit Salou.

    Great fun for all ages!
We came in 2019 - prior to the pandemics - and came back now. It was a very good surprise to see that the customer service mindset of the park has improved dramatically and every employee is attentive and friendly. Rides and infrastructure is very well maintained, it is a great option for all ages and we had a lot of fun!

    Just visit during the evening!!
If visiting during summer I would suggest saving money by buying an evening ticket which allows access from 6pm i believe. When we went for the whole day the park was so busy it was over an hour wait for all rides and the queues get very boring which takes away from the experience of the actual ride when you finally get to it. We stayed from 11am until 11pm and after 7pm the park was basically empty! The waits for the rides that had previously been 2 hours (dragon khan & shambhala) were about 10 minutes which was basically just walk straight on. We managed to do all the big rides and a few others in a couple of hours! Definitely don’t bother coming during the day- the evening is less busy and there’s more shows and entertainment

    Adventure for everyone
A great theme park for all ages. I love how it is all set up as mini worlds such as China, Polynesia, The Wild West, The Mediterranean, Mexico and even seasame street. They were all decorated so well and felt like you had been transported to that country. I went with my partner and we loved the rollercoasters. Dragon Khan was amazing. Thrill seekers will be in their element. I would recommend avoiding visiting on the weekend due to how busy it can be. The longest we queued for a ride was 1hour but it did seem to get worse throughout the day. There are a few restaurants and vendors throughout the park.

    Port Aventura visit Mon 3/7/2023
Lack of staff about to help manage a smooth experience. Unsure if covid played a part in this. People kept jumping the queue mainly spainish aged school children. Queues up to 1 hour 50 mins. If you are bigger in the skin like myself and parter. You will struggle to feel comfortable on the rides. Some won't let you on at all. I get the safety aspect but by now I would have thought attractions would be more diverse. My favourite ride dragon Khan which was worth the wait.

A theme park not to be missed
Had a great day out here, the rides were mind blowing. Went to Ferrari land aswell. If you have just a day here like we had I'd highly recommend getting the express passes. You'll get on all the rides in a day then. Only negative was it was peak season & some of the restaurants weren't open during the day. Other than that can't wait to get back.

    Fantastic Rides. Poor food.
Excellent park.plenty to do. We had a two day trip. 1st day we queued and managed to get about 10 rides done. Average length queue was about an hour. The 2nd day we got two fast passes. A bit expensive but well worth it. We managed to get over 80 rides done. Many multiple times. One tip. Bring your own food. Very very expensive for rubbish. 2 lunches. 1/2 rack of ribs. Warm chips. Drink and an ice cream for 2 people £40. 10 out of 10 for the rides. 1 out of 10 for the food

Came here and paid for 2 days 2 park tickets. We did a full day at Portaventura 10-6 both days as park is huge and found we needed both days to get everything done. We had an amazing time and didn’t feel the need to buy any fast pass tickets as we never really queued for anything longer than 30mins. Until we went the second day an went straight to unchartered time said 1hr 20 an it was well over 2hrs the queue went on forever an altho it is a good ride I wouldn’t have queued that long for it. That’s the only ride we had a queue on. Luckily on the second day my mum followed us on with the younger kids and met us at 2pm x rides are really good for little ones but they are really strict with height requirements and sone I found the height quite high compared to what the ride is but obviously it’s for safety reasons so that was fine.
We went and seen the magic bubble show which is on for about 15/20mins an is quite a cute little show little ones really liked it. There was no train or boat running which was a shame. Food was a decent price with kids meals being I think 6/7 euros if not a little bit more it came to 31 euros for 1 adult meal, 1 child’s meal fries drinks an one of the drinks was Portaventura metal drinks bottle so overall I thought that was reasonable considering being in a park.
The second day we went to Ferrari land which didn’t open till 4pm-10pm. You literally only need an hour or two here depending on queues as there’s not much at all. Mainly kiddies rides an then of course red force which we waited over an hour for my daughter to go on a she loved every minute.
Overall we had two really good days here. The water park wasn’t open during our visit as out of season.

This is our third year in a row coming to PortAventura and this year we had different circumstances.

I had an injury to my knee which prevented me from climbing stairs, walking long distances or standing for very long. Which happened after we booked. My son was diagnosed with autism, so we had contacted the park previous to see what proof we needed to bring in order to access the disabilities pass and was told an official letter from the doctor should suffice. Upon arrival we made our way to the customer services area and while they allowed my son’s diagnosis be eligible they were refusing mine because it was a temporary condition. This made us very confused and I appreciate that if everyone who hurt their foot or broke their arm were to ask for disabled access then this would likely defeat the object for those with life long disabilities to enable them to enjoy the park to the full. It was the miscommunication that was very annoying.
The second very annoying thing was that my autistic son had a wrist band on and after the first day it started to annoy him so we took it off so he could shower and sleep and then stuck it back together for the next day. The only ride we had an issue with was shambala where they were refusing our entry because we had tampered with the wrist band. I tried to explain that he couldn’t shower and sleep with it and the date on the band says it’s valid for the whole duration of our stay which was 6 days - he cannot be expected to wear it for 6 days? In this case are we to go to customer services every day to get a new one ? Which is very far by the way. (About 20 min walk from the other end of the park where we were staying). Then the girl told us that one of us should wear it instead and get the customer service people to write on the wrist band that he can’t wear it because it irritates him ?? At that point I said we were told that only he can wear it. And in any case we also have to sleep and shower.
Confusion.
The next thing was we arrived to go on a ride in the disabled queue and when we reached the ride my autistic son decides he doesn’t want to go on the ride and wanted to wait for us while we went on at which point the attendant says he has to go on or we will have to join the back of the queue for us to ride, so he felt pressured to go on a ride he didn’t want to go on because he didn’t want to disappoint us. This made absolutely no sense at all!! This was totally unacceptable if my son is with us we are all affected by his disability. We can’t just leave him while we wait 1 hour for a ride ?? This makes no sense. Please train your staff to be consistent around disabilities. Please don’t embarrass us or make my child feel pressured into riding if he changes his mind and don’t punish us. I have a younger child that was upset at the thought of not being able to go on that my autistic son had to go on.

So this was the issue we had this year. Although there is excellent level of disability access I think consistent training for staff and a closer look at the overall affect of disability to those with the disability and their families who have chosen to visit your park and in our case every year.

Lots of choices for lunch, it would be good to have some water fountains dotted about and the return policy for the cups is silly at times. To encourage people to recycle the plastic cups that they give you when you get drinks etc they return you €1 for each cup handed in. Because I pay with car this means I end up with loose euros which is rubbish so I collected my cups and the day before we left I handed them in but because I didn’t have my receipt the cashier refused them and she wouldn’t take them even to recycle so they went int the trash ! That’s definitely not very environmentally friendly and not zero waste as they advertise themselves at. 8 plastic cups in the trash.

Unfortunately we probably will not come next year because of the overall stress caused.
However we have made lots of wonderful memories.

We have just returned from our holiday to Salou that included a 3 day ticket for Protaventura World. 2 days in the main park and one in Ferrari World.

Overall this time was a great experience. We came a couple of years ago and had a not so great experience with slow and rude operations staff but so was cautious this year however can say this visit was great. From collection the 3 day ticket our disability fast passes for the 3 days were sorted within a few mins with little to no issues with our documents. We used our UK nimbus cards and no other information was asked for. Passes were given for Encharted for the 3 days along with dated wrist band.

On entering the park the already great themed areas were all set up for Easter with eggs and signage around the park making for great photo opportunities.

Operations in the rides were quick but we were in the disability queues but we never waited more that one ride before we were seated. Easter Sunday was a quieter day in the park due to weather but from an operational point of view all rides were running without issue apart from Tomahawk but that's been down since opening day.

Food options are ok there is something for everyone we used the Mexican Buffett one day and ate from a stall the other day all was nice warm and not too overpriced for a theme park

Digital photo passes have doubled in price since we were last year. These are now 45 euros and you get 2 wrist bands. However for 10 people that didn't allow us to use to get photos for everyone in the party, as they would only download pics for the person wearing the band. Meaning lots of our party couldn't get ride photos.

Overall a group of 10 of us had a great time over the 3 days we were there and would return again.

Easter family holiday with two teens 15 and 17, and they absolutely loved Portaventura and Ferrari Land. The 2 day passes are a must to get to enjoy everything. Queues can be long at busy times and the food/drinks expensive, but it's a theme park!!] Excellent 2 days, lots of laughter and two happy exhausted teens (and parents 😴). The Ferrari experience is amazing 👏 and the roller coaster 🎢 wow ❤️ definitely worth it when you're in Salou. Thanks for a fantastic experience.

PortAventura World deja a mi madre con una minusvalia del 33% tirada sin el pase express. Haciendo las colas con 68 años. UNA VERGÜENZA. Muy decepcionada y por supuesto hecha la debida reclamacion que pasaré por la union de consumidores.
#Portaventura world leave my mother with out the express pass although she has a disability. What a shame!! Complain made and the lawyers will take the case.

Worst experience at any amusement park that I have been to. Long lines at the fun rides. 2 of the 5 which you have to be taller on, my daughter and I were told the ride was broke down. Wasted over 1 1/2 hours waiting for broken rides only to have to leave the line. The food is terrible. It will satisfy your kid but an adult it is nasty.

PortAventura Salou in Costa Dorada, Spain offers a vibrant and diverse amusement park experience suitable for families and thrill-seekers alike. The park boasts a range of thrilling rides, immersive themed areas, and live entertainment options. From adrenaline-pumping roller coasters to charming family attractions, there's something for everyone. However, crowds can be significant, particularly during peak seasons, leading to long wait times for popular rides. Additionally, some areas of the park may benefit from refurbishment to maintain their appeal. Overall, PortAventura Salou provides an enjoyable day out, but visitors should be prepared for queues and consider visiting during quieter periods for a more relaxed experience.

I love this park so much! But this time it disappointed me A LOT!! Traveled there on 17th Feb 2024. We were looking to go to enjoy the rollercoster, BUT!!! From all rollercoster properly worked just few. Waiting in queue for one hour on most of them, just before us it had unexpected issues! And ride was impossible. Of course we were trying another and the same story. It was 8 people of us, paid full amount (it is not cheap) we just lost time Waiting for nothing. Even after all the kinda work and stock , work and stock, not sure it even safe rides!! I hope it will be taken in account!

The park is pretty interesting if you are interested in rollercoasters and brave enough to face the crazier ones. If you don’t really like them, it’ll probably be a bit boring, since they are all over the place. I’d think twice before taking little kids there. I didn’t go to Ferrari Land because it was closed, just like lots of restaurants, which I personally didn’t like. Still had a good time there though.

What a amazing, magical theme park. Visited last Easter with my 3 year old, Sesame Street land is perfect for the little ones. I thought the large magical looking tree was fantastic, especially with the eggs for Easter! I'd love to come back again at Easter as the Easter bunny show was super and my little girl loved it! The costumes were beautiful and everywhere was decorated lovely. We also caught a shrek performance which again was fantastic. I love the different themed areas such as Mexico/China/Wild West, it just makes it all so theatrical and exciting. The shows and people in costumes give the park that extra wow factor and I'd absolutely love to visit again to view the firework displays and street carnival! It was also lovely and clean too.
