- Rebecca SJohnstown, PA3 contributionsWe had a great time and loved the entire setup. The employee running the counter was extremely nice and took her time with assisting everyone. We will be going back to see it again!!Written March 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dustoff_8Great Falls, VA84 contributionsHorseshoe curve is essential for trains to cross the spine of the Allegheny mountains in central Pennsylvania. Built in 1854 and still fully functional this is a miracle of engineering. We saw three trains transit the curve in less than an hour.Written December 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Val CErie, PA3 contributionsWow! We are Erie SeaWolves fans living in the Erie area so we decided to take a road trip to Altoona to watch these two teams battle it out! I love our Erie stadium but the Alton Curve People’s Field is THE BEST! We were greeted by an usher who immediately wiped off our seats-there hadn’t even been any rain! Then as we were taking a selfie the same usher immediately came over to offer to take our pic. There are only 8 seats in each row so leaving our seats to use the restroom wasn’t an inconvenience to other fans AND the seats are extra wide for all patrons comfort AND there is so much leg room between each seat and the one in front of each fan that we were more than comfortable. The Tuesday evening we attended the game we garnered tickets for $7 or $7.50 each. Despite Erie losing, People’s Park is a real winner!! We will definitely return!Written August 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- A. M.86 contributionsBoyer Candy outlet offering special prices on mallow cups, chocolate pretzels, and Clark bars. It's not a huge store but if your traveling in the area worth a stop! Tshirts, mugs, and boxes available to purchase. We stopped in on a whim after seeing a sign and glad we did. It was a nice break from travel and good treats! Families would enjoy this too.Written January 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Sherry B25 contributionsSo much interesting history we never knew about. Our tour guide was fantastic and very funny (and the tour is free). Only a few bucks to walk around.Written July 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BrandonPittsburgh, PA463 contributionsThe price alone makes this Park worth it. $20 a person for unlimited rides and mini golf is a steal. This park is home to the world's oldest Rollercoaster, the Leap the Dips. It is a fun ride and a great piece of history. The other rides are nice, and the Skyliner is a must ride to see PNG field right next to it. Definitely do both the mini gold courses. They were so fun!Written June 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- stephieannKnoxville, TN7 contributionsWe checked in at the carriage house to inquire about tickets. Since the mansion was being prepped for the holidays we were given a guided tour by a lovely historian. She said since we were from out of town, she would give us a tour. The tour was fascinating. It was great learning the history of such a neat place. It was fascinating to see the furniture pieces that belonged to the Baker family. The many rooms (parlor, dining room, kitchen bathroom and bedrooms) were filled with neat stories backed by historical facts. The portraits of the family brought the stories to life. I'm glad I had the opportunity to tour the Baker mansion.Written December 1, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sonya M1 contributionI love stopping by Oak Spring Winery!!! They have some of my favorite sweet wines like "berry-berry". I can't go wrong with their "chocolate covered cherry" either. These are fantastic wines for holiday gift giving. They even can do custom labels which will be perfect for my daughter's wedding next June. See you soon Oak Spring!Written August 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

So neat to be a part of history.
We got to explain to our kids about how gas stations used to be.
