I personally really do like it as a child album. As a child album, I wouldn't mind buying it for my children in 70's. It's not exceptional, but it's not bad either: actually, instrumentation is pretty good, Björk inmature voice is sweet and although almost all tracks are covers, they sound somewhat entertaining when sung in Icelandic by little Björk. And do not forget, one track was written and performed by Björk herself. Though Björk was definitely not a little Mozart, I think this effort is precisely what you can expect of a child: no boundaries breaking or anything, but very nice to ear.

I like in particular "Fusi Hreindyr"

I think my favourite is Baenin. Músastiginn is a actually a very interesting instrumental as well. And Jóhaness Kjarval, of course, first ever released music piece written by Björk herself.

btw, up to this day I do not know where this artist found lyrics for Jóhannes Kjarval to cover it vocally:

Do you mean Gling-Gló?

No. Gling-Glo is from 1990. I mean this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bj%C3%B6rk_(album)

Thanks, I didn't know about this one!

I have one of the unofficial CD releases of this, it’s a fun little album!

It’s cute but I don’t like many child vocalists or really have a reason to revisit this aside from my initial listen well into my Björk discovery. I think all her fans should try it and it’s cool she got to make this so early but I can’t take it too seriously even amongst her expanded discography.

I listen to it, let's say, once per year. It's really a fun little album, as someone has already mentioned. I am grateful for this release because at least we have her voice captured while still a child.

I own it but have yet to listen. Maybe this’ll help motivate me to finally complete this step and then I’ll hop back here.
