noah g the fight scenes werent as good as the other don lee movies ive seen but the plot was actually good so i dont mind Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review JJJJJJ J Pretty good action-comedy. This film is much less intense then pretty much every korean movie I've ever seen. It definitely was aware that it would be seen by an international market, for better or for worst. It seems to almost follow more american tropes than Korean but is well done. The plot is engaging but has no real heart at the basis. There were some plot points that didn't play out perfectly, but the action and comedy were both spot on and enough to carry the some what weak plot. This seems like the action movie to show to an american who hates "foreign" movies, if you were trying to get said American into Korean action movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/18/23 Full Review Jay S The story was rather primitive. Otherwise a typical revenge movie with an Asian flavor. A type of dramedy. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed it. If you are a fan of Ma Dong-seok it is a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review gareth d Passes the time and little more, far behind the best Korean gangster or action flicks. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Another great performance by Don Lee. In this one he stars as a seemingly passive, gentle giant whose paths cross with a psychotic gangster as the result of a traffic accident. As the story unfolds and Lee's own wife is kidnapped we learn that he is more than he seems, and no push-over. Seong-oh Kim is phenomenally eerie as the villain. This is a surprising mix or humor, action, and violence. Lee is a true movie star, in the classic sense. He rivals Eastwood, Willis, and Schwarzenegger in his ability to do a lot with few words. I recommend this as well as all his films. This one is subtitled. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Wight The Wee Review Memorable characters abound in fairly satisfying but tonally iffy action comedy. Rated: 3 Jul 4, 2019 Full Review Yip Wai Yee The Straits Times (Singapore) What is also thrilling are the moments where Ji-soo actively thinks of ways to escape and is unafraid to stand up for the other kidnapped women. Rated: 3/5 Dec 7, 2018 Full Review Rob Hunter Film School Rejects You care about these people. You nod approvingly as asses are kicked. And you might get a little wet-eyed as it all comes to an end. That's not too shabby. Dec 7, 2018 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion Kim Min-ho's feature debut doesn't match the best South Korean action movies in either substance or style. Rated: C Dec 3, 2018 Full Review Kristian M. Lin Fort Worth Weekly All told, the shaggy straightforwardness of Unstoppable makes it feel like one of those Hollywood action flicks from the 1980s that starred Stallone or Schwarzenegger. Transplanted to another culture and another time, that's not the worst thing. Nov 29, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
