Product Description
Just wright stars queen latifah (bringing down the house; valentine's day) as leslie wright; a straight-shooting physical therapist who gets the gig of a lifetime working with nba all-star scott mcknight (common date night). All is going well until leslie finds herself falling for scott; forcing her to choose between the gig of a lifetime and the tug-of-war inside her heart. Oblivious to her romantic overtures; mcknight is instead drawn to the affections of leslie's gorgeous childhood friend morgan (paula patton - precious); who has her sights set on being an nba trophy wife. Is leslie destined to play the role of "best friend" forever or will scott finally see that what he always wanted is right in front of him? Set against the exciting world of championship basketball; the game of love takes on the battle of the sexes in the romantic sports comedy just wright; starring three of hollywood's most charismatic personalities as they navigate the full-court-press of love.

The seller’s listing was accurate but, I wasn’t sure that the digital copy would work based on its release date. It was a digital copy disc, however the digital copy slip did not mention an expiration date so I contacted Disney customer service, as they now own the rights to the movie. Surprisingly they honored it and sent me a code after sending pictures of the disc and slip to them. This was a one time exception, so I can’t say, with any certainty, that they will honor it for anyone else. If you purchase this, I wish you good look if attempting to get a digital code.
Thank you Disney for the excellent customer service.

This was a brilliant film! What's refreshing about Leslie is that she refuses to be anyone but herself. She believes that she should be loved for who she is which is contrasted brilliantly by Morgan. This contradiction adds great depth to the film, Leslie the smart, funny and genuine woman who never pretends to be anything else, next to Morgan, the selfish and ambitious woman who relies heavily on her beauty, creating a character to hide her true self behind.
Both Latifah and Common play great leads throughout, their chemistry adding greatly to the comic and romantic aspects of the film. The basketball element really added to the film, the extra detail gave more depth and believability whilst also making it accessible to everyone. Although a rom-com there is definitely something for the guys in this film, making it a great watch for everyone. If you haven't seen this film I strongly recommend trying, defiantly one of my favourite feel good films! :)
