HICKORY, N.C. The Lenoir-Rhyne Bears Club has announced the 2023 Annual Dinner will take place on August 17th at Moretz Mills. Doors will open at 5:30 pm, with dinner being served at 6:00 pm, and the program beginning at 6:30.

The program will focus on celebrating the banner year the athletic department had in 2022-23 and provide a glimpse into what's next for Bears Sports. Student-athletes and coaches of our three National Championships from this past year will be in attendance, providing an opportunity for you to get to meet and know some of the outstanding student-athletes.

New this year, the live auction has been moved to the annual dinner. There will be five great items up for auction at the end of the night, with all proceeds going to student-athlete scholarships. The auction items include: beach vacations, mountain getaways, LR football game experiences and a one-of-a-kind men's lacrosse national championship package.

More details will follow soon.  Tickets are $50 per person, and young alumni (graduating between 2003-2023) tickets are $30.  The ticket price includes dinner and two drink vouchers (cash bar for additional drinks).  Tickets can be purchased online at www.lrbears.com/annualdinner or by contacting the Bears Club at 828-328-7007.
