The Bavaria Party (German: Bayernpartei, BP) is a Bavarian nationalist political party in West Germany. It was founded in 1946 among former members of the Bavarian nationalist party, the Bavarian People's Party.
The party have experienced two golden age in its history. The first was during the 1950s, when the party was a major player in Bavarian politics. Later, the party would find sucsess on both regional and federal level, in the 2010s. Through this, the party have moved from the centre, to become more influenced by right-wing ideas.
The party made history when they made an federal alliance with the right-wing Republicans in 2015. After the 2013 Bavarian state election, the BP have been the biggest party in the state.
