CET stands for Central Eastern Time, while CST stands for Central Standard Time. CET is used in Europe, and it is one hour ahead of the UTC. Great Britain is the only area in which this rule does not apply.

Most other European countries have become acclimated to the CET, which makes British time behind by one hour than countries that use CET, and the switch to CET has been challenging for Britain. On the other hand, CST is used in North America, predominantly by the United States and Canada.

It is six hours at the back of the UTC, and it is founded on the mean solar time of the 90th meridian west of the Greenwich Observatory. It is also the time zone being used in most regions of the country. CST is two hours ahead of Pacific Time Zone, one hour ahead of Mountain Time Zone, and one hour behind Eastern time zone.
