‘ParaNorman’

ParaNorman mixes the eerie lore of The Sixth Sense with Laika’s stellar stop-motion animation. Norman can see dead people: he communicates with his late grandmother and local ghosts daily. Although Norman has a strong connection with the deceased, he struggles to converse with the human world. When a wacky old uncle warns Norman that Blithe Hollow has been cursed by a witch, he’s got to convince his friends and family to help him save the town. The animated flick has fantastical witches, zombies, and graveyards galore. ParaNorman is a frightening family adventure well-suited for Halloween festivities.
