I like it. I would include voralberg and bavarian swabia here, as far as the lech. Bits of the north could go to a revived 'franconia'.
This would then be a great switzerland. One could then have an bavarian kingdom, = south bavaria + austria + bits and pieces. A frankonia wolud be the mainz basin down the rhine, netherlands, belguim, and as far as the old border. Saxony would be hanover to silesia, saxony and pomerania.
The P.O.D. here would be that, where the 1815 wars ended in 'realpolitik' and that did not work, the 1914-16 war ended in making 'nation-states' actual nations. Alemania is the old switzerland enlargened, Frankonia is the benelux enlargened, Austria is austria enlargened, and Saxony is the rest of germany. Similar events across the world would lead to a kurdish state, a full amenia, poland to the sea, etc.
