The Big 12 Conference and ESPN launched a new digital network called Big 12 Now/ESPN+ in the fall of 2019.
What is ESPN+?
A direct-to-consumer (not affiliated with your current dish/cable services) streaming service that will cost $5.99 per month. As part of the launch, ESPN+ was integrated into ESPN’s completely update App (which is still free) as well as ESPN.com. Subscribers will receive thousands of additional live events, and original shows and films, and an on-demand library. ESPN+ will not include access to stream ESPN's existing, linear networks.
How much does ESPN+ cost?
ESPN+ costs $5.99 a month or $49.99 annually. A subscription can be canceled at any time.
How do I subscribe to ESPN+ and where can I watch it?
A subscription to ESPN+ is available for purchase via the ESPN App, plus.ESPN.com and ESPN.com. Fans can access ESPN+ content only after they have subscribed.
What are the ESPN+ supported devices?
A subscriber can watch ESPN+ in the Watch tab of the latest version of the ESPN App, available on the web, iPhone, iPad, AppleTV, Android devices, Roku, Chromecast, FireTV, XBOX One, Playstation 4, Oculus Go and Samsung connected TVs. It is also available via ESPN.com on the web.
How do I log in?
Log in using your current ESPN account, or, on desktop, create a new account via the user icon, or, on mobile, upon arrival to the ESPN App. You will be prompted to log in or create a new account when purchasing a subscription.
Beyond live Big 12 events, what else does ESPN+ offer?
For the $4.99 monthly subscription price, fans will get access to Big 12 content and thousands of other events, original shows, series and an unmatched library of on-demand sports content, including hundreds of MLB and NHL games, exclusive UFC, Top Rank boxing and PFL fights, domestic and international soccer, thousands of college sports events (multiple sports from 20 conferences), Grand Slam tennis, international and domestic rugby, cricket, and more.
What quality are ESPN+ streams?
ESPN+ video streams in high definition at 60 frames per second.
Can I cast ESPN+ content?
Yes, you can cast ESPN+ content from your mobile device to your TV set (note: not all set-top TV devices have the ability to cast). However, ESPN+ content is intended only for personal non-commercial use.
Can I watch multiple ESPN+ streams?
Yes, you can access five streams from ESPN+ at any one time. Plus, as a subscriber, you can pause, rewind, or restart anything you're watching live through ESPN+.
Is ESPN+ and ESPN3 the same thing?
No, ESPN+ is a subscription based package that you can cancel at any time, while ESPN3 comes with most cable or TV packages. YOU DO NOT RECEIVE ESPN3 with an ESPN+ subscription.
Where is ESPN+ available?
ESPN+ is currently only available in the US.
Will all future Big 12 games now be on ESPN+?
No, our television partners decide where the games will be streamed/telecasted. See schedules on cyclones.com for carrier designations.

Once signed up, it is recommended that Cyclone fans list Iowa State basketball and football as personal “favorites” so ISU programming is prioritized on the menus. Fans are encouraged to login in advance of the game to test the product.
