Marie Osmond is one proud grandma.

While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday, the singer, 64, opened up about remarrying her first husband Stephen Craig Sr., saying that the two always make time to see all of their grandkids. Osmond is mom to son Stephen Jr., 40, whom she shares with her first husband.

She shares daughters Jessica, 36, Rachael, 34, Brianna, 25, and Abigail, 20, as well as sons Michael, who died by suicide at 19, Brandon, 27, and Matthew, 24, with her ex-husband, Brian Blosil, and is also grandma to eight grandkids.

"I thought I'd never love anything as much as my children," Osmond tells host Drew Barrymore, 49. "Oh my gosh, grandchildren are like having your kids on steroids. I mean, it's just like, so cool I can't tell you."

"And as a parent, you have to guide them — you're not their friend, you're their parents. When you're the grandma, who cares? I can do anything I want."

In January, Osmond shared the Christmas present she'd gotten for her son Matthew. Sharing a picture of the present on her Instagram, the proud mom explained why the gift was so important to her in the caption.

"When I was designing and sculpting dolls for 25 years, I designed a doll for each of my children…," the musician wrote. "Well, I don’t know what happened, but I never designed one for my son Matthew. So I fixed that this Christmas!!"

In the carousel of pictures that Osmond posted, Matthew could be seen holding the doll that matched his likeness as a child. Adult Matthew wore a red shirt in the photo while the doll wore a bright red sweatshirt and blue gym shorts.

"I couldn’t have imagined it turning out more perfect!" she wrote of the doll.
