Westbury High School Reviews
Rating 3.71 out of 5 198 reviews
Westbury High School is an excellent educational institution. I have created many memories and friendships during my four years as a student. My life has been profoundly impacted by the teachers I have had. I wanted to get out of bed and go to school because of them. With many of them, I had an unbreakable bond. Although Westbury High School isn't a perfect institution, its staff makes a great effort to make it a secure and welcoming place.
Since attending Westbury, I love how the school is one big supportive community. The teachers and administrative staff are always striving to ensure the students are adequately equipped for their success through workshops and many other resources. The school also has a very wide range of clubs and varsity sports teams that cater to each individual's interests.
I had heard many people complain about the food or the bathrooms being dirty on some days, yet there have always been positives to counteract those complaints. The staff, unity, and activities here make up for the broken lock on a bathroom stall, or a burger not having cheese on it. These small problems are hidden behind the vibrancy of the school. Administrators encourage students to stay positive, and motivated, join clubs and activities, show responsibility, and show character. My time at Westbury High School has been rewarding. All the teachers do their best to help their alumni, as well as the students helping each other. I made many new friends because of a sports team, that I wouldn't have joined had it not been for the teachers and friends that encouraged me. The only major change I would like to see is in the food, but even then, the staff is working hard to change it now because they take the student body's opinions into consideration and that above all makes it all worth it.
