Many feelings on Immaculate
The 1st 1/2 of the film is a typical jump scare nun movie. The back 1/2 is much better & the 3rd act is very much my kind of thing
Many will LOVE the final moments. Others will be OFFENDED. I'm not sure how i feel. You will have an opinion on the end.
Civil War may be my favorite film of #SXSW
The film is thrilling, horrifying, and thoughtful (and funny) all at once. The film looks massive and gorgeous.
Sequences can be both beautiful and gut-wrenching. Every sequence evokes conflicting emotions.
The entire film feels like Garland is juggling different tones and perspectives seamlessly.
Kung Fu Panda 4 is a good but safe entry in the franchise. It doesn’t take any big risks, but it also doesn’t have any significant missteps. The characters are fun as always. Most of the jokes land. But it lacks the freshness of the first two films and some characters are missed. A solid entry. Just don’t expect the highs of the original films.
I loved #TheFlash! It was everything I hoped it would be. It's a blast while still having melancholy undertones. The setup, story, and stakes are both personal and epic. As someone whose earliest memory at the theater was Batman '89, seeing Keaton again was special.
While it's great to see Keaton, a lived in DC world, and fan service, it's very much Barry Allen's story and arc.
