When Avatar: The Last Airbender first aired on Nickelodeon in 2005, it didn't take long for viewers to be entranced by the animated fantasy series. The show followed a unique story of a young boy named Aang, who was destined to save the world from a 100-year war, and mastering the ability to bend the four elements (water, earth, fire and air) for the use of good.

Amid an eclectic group of characters, an homage to traditional martial arts and a compelling plot, it's no surprise people of all ages loved it. What's more, after three seasons on the air, Avatar: The Last Airbender was expanded into a sequel, titled The Legend of Korra. Set 70 years after the events of the original series, folks met another young Avatar named Korra, meant to save the world from a new set of evils. Given the success of the franchise, it was only fitting that a live-action series would come about.

Starting February 22, folks will get to see actor Gordon Cormier take on the titular role in Netflix's version. It's already receiving a lot of hype, and people can't wait to see it come to life.

But before diving into the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix, some may be wondering if they can watch and stream the complete original animated series online. Well, it's time to saddle up on Appa, because we have the answers for you. Yip yip!
